I am definitely joining in this because I am determined to get some of my projects done...I have way too many to count, but I will start writing up a list and add to it as I rediscover ancient UFOs. :) I love all the things people have accomplished already!! And I am so glad projects don't have to be solely craft related. :) It will be so good to not have undone things nagging at me and just writing them down knowing I will tackle them should help settle my brain into work mode I think. :)

I've had these tin cans sitting on my counter for a month. I had four, but my dear sweet husband was cleaning up. So today I finally upcycled them from trash to useful objects. Don't they look cozy?

Krista, I love your lemonade sign! It's so cute. And Brenda what a great idea for cozy cans! I remember doing a decoupage set for the grandparents when the kids were young (which they still use), but I love the sweater set.

I am an Aries. I start something, become bored with it and drop it to move on to the next shiny project. Knowing oneself is the best way to get a grip on our UFO "problem" and learning skills to keep it under control. My therapist would be so proud of me for saying that.

Actually, the blue one is made from scraps from a thrift-shop sweater that I had felted and used in another project, the pink stripey one I knitted on my circular sock machine from leftover sock wool, and the pink fairisle with the animals was cut from a sample swatch I made a few years ago when I was demonstrating a flat-bed knitting machine at a Maker Fest. But I'll bet you could use a sweater sleeve if you had one! That's a great idea! Especially for the salmon tin can, which is slightly tapered. The others might need some trimming because the cans have straight sides.

Brenda, those are adorable! So cozy for winter. :)

Grace, that is a beautiful quilt block. I'm hoping to make my first quilt this year...a rag quilt for my bed. :)

I love all the projects that are getting finished!! Those cans are soooo incredibly cozy looking and that quilt square has me wanting to make a quilt. . . but must resist that temptation right now.
Wow, that struggle is sooo real. . .Hahahaha!! So glad we all can relate.

I am *very* close to finishing a year long UFO from last year. I participated in a "Stitch-A-Long" where we got a new pattern every month. I am on November's pattern now, I am a slow stitcher because I work full time and have two hours of commute a day, plus online school. :) So needless to say I don't have much free time.

Ok I went and made my list....these are the things that were in my box and easy to see but I didn't drag everything else so things may get added to my UFO list later....

1. First- Clean, organize, and set up my craft room because nothing else will get done before that.
2. Put together my Farmgirl binder.
3. Do something with my farmgirl badges.
4. Household binder
5. Meal plan binder, pantry plan, price list, perpetual pantry....
6. Silkies to dye/batik (this was a project I was supposed to do with my oldest)
7-10. Two waldorf dolls and two waldorf baby dolls (babies for the dolls) to make plus ...
11. I need to make new clothes for one of the dolls whose clothes got lost
12-15. Four doll dresses for 18" dolls
16-19. Four fuzzy ruffle scarves
20-21. A mermaid tail for my daughter's dress up box and matching one for her doll
22-23. Two soft/cloth baby books that have been floating around in my stuff cut and padded but not sewn up for ages and ages
24-25. Two unfinished afghans, one is a baby blanket that someone gave me unfinished, the other is a full size block afghan I started when my oldest was a baby (she is 12). I am not sure where the blocks are but I'm sure they are around here somewhere. Also, I will just have to do my best matching yarn colors as I'm sure any yarn that was left got used for something else.
26. (there are several but we will call it one) Dryer balls in various stages (some just need to be pulled out of their socks and trimmed, some need to be felted, some are still skeins of yarn that need to be rolled!)

Like I said as I clean things out I will probably find other projects. I know I have a box full of reenactment dresses that either need to be finished or repaired but as we have decided that activity isn't in our near future I will probably just give them away.

Good job everyone. We just hit 21 finished UFOs. We now have 24 participants.

Sabrina - We all have so much to do. I have so much that I am not participating in any swaps this year until I get a handle on it. I am like Jennifer. I work, ride the bus for my commute, have a dog and cat and a 65 year old little boy to take care of plus housework and, unfortunately, am addicted to the computer. ACK!

Maybe Sunday I will cut back on the computer time and see what UFOs I have in the house.

Jenn, you will have to post a picture of what you are stitching on. One of the things that I like about stitching, etc. is that is stays "done"...unlike laundry and cleaning, that you do all of the time. You have something beautiful to show for your time, no matter how little time you have to work on it or how long it takes you to finish.
