Thank you. The weather here took an interesting turn. The temperature reached 81 degrees F and then there was an awful storm just north of here. They even think there may have been a tornado.
I received my membership file today. I am looking forward to determining what to put Henrietta on. I think it will be a denim shirt apron or wall hanging.

Terri,, here is a simple YOYO project,, that makes a great gift..
After learning how to make YOYOs, my friend made and sent this to me..
Glue some YOYOS along the top, and stamp on an initial or sweet design.. and Voila!
What a cute idea and great project for a quick gift.

made a green yoyo bunny this morning,, and yesterday I worked on a YOYO Owl... I had to fudge with the pattern because the instructions were difficult for me to read and understand.. but so far it is turning out cut.. I will post pics when it is complete.

Grace these days I find all patterns hard to follow. So if the end result ends up looking somewhat like the picture I figure I'm close enough. BTW love your bunnies.

Sara,, I call it, my "putting my own spin on it".. lolol!
I still have not assembled the 'fly fishing themed' yoyos for the table topper,, and now with the 3 days of nice weather,, I am outside all day,, but we are due in some rain,, 'sew' that will be the perfect time to lay them out and start sewing them together.

I am working on an YoYo Owl,, the instructions are giving me a bit of a challenge.. but I am getting it finished..
I modified the pattern and used a remnant piece of crocheted doily as a hat..

decorate a lampshade,,,
trim the edge of a table cover...
a bottle tote and a deco pillow...
Oh the things you can decorate with yoyos...

Grace when I looked at your sweet yo-yo topper again this morning I thought with a lining it would make a great doll coverlet. Your colors are great for the spring & summer months.

I think Farmgirl Jubilee is a great idea! And I love yoyos! Thanks, Grace, for choosing them as the theme this year!
I have started making miniature yoyo quilts for a few friends and some family members. I am trying to use their favorite color, and it can be challenging. The yoyos in the quilts are about 1 1/4" and the yoyos in the smaller one are about 3/4". (I tend to like miniature things.)

I like all the suggestions everyone has made about things to make with yoyos. I also like trees, especially Christmas trees, so I want to make one of those. I am not sure what to make to celebrate Farmgirl Jubilee, but there are plenty of ideas to choose from. I can't wait to see what everyone makes. Have a good day, everyone!

Oh, ya know... I need to find an cheapo straw hat (garden hat) and make a yoyo band for it,, or maybe use ribbon for the band and make a 'flower arrangement' to go on it. hmmm,,, creative mind? or my 2nd cup of coffee is kicking in! lol!
