Grace, it looks like pink Flamingos are going to become a new favorite!! There are many people around here that have them in their yards or collect stuff with flamingoes on it. Kinda like the Glamper craze! Here in Florida, they are so common and beloved and widely used to decorate everywhere, especially at the beaches!
I know you will totally love getting back to your sewing room so that you can just play!! Since Spokane has lousy weather at the moment, enjoy those sunny warm skies of Southern California and fresh squeezed citrus!!

Grace, I do know how you feel being unable to buy the grandbabies gifts! Thats how I feel when I visit Wa and my sweet Sophia!! I'd buy her a car if I could but she can't get her license for another 15 years, lmbo! I know you'll be happy to get home no matter. It's the families we love that being us home! Stat safe!

I can hardly wait to get back home so I can start working on my cards.. I have been perusing the internet for cute Ideas..
and it's nice to know that I have plenty of time,, as May is 2 1/2 months away..
My daughter is an avid card maker ,, so I am thinking, she, the grand-kiddos and I will have a couple of Card making days for fun..

Phew! I am home again after 2 1/2 months in warm sunny Clifornia...
I dug out my light box and stylist and templetes,, thinking I would start on a card or two.. when I came across another cute card idea.. now I have to decide,, do I make all the cards different .. or make all the same

Welcome Grace back home again!! I am so happy that you enjoyed beautiful southern California while cold blustery wether has been trudging along in Washington State. I bet you love being able to get into your sewing room again and just be. Whenever I travel, I love my "Logcabin" room being there all ready for me to catch up and get back into a routine again.

Well,, I was in the card making mood yesterday,, made 8 cards for Easter... and pulled out some card stock and stuff for my cards for this projects... oh my, May is only 35 days away..

I need to get in gear and make my cards for the Jubilee. I have been side tracked with a couple of swaps and Easter and the Jubilee preparations has just been on the back burner. Time to get the gears switched!!

I made some Easter cards,, and I have 3 cards 1/2 assembled for May..
Things I learned...
1. don't use a glue stick on heavy shiny cardstock,, it won't stay stuck!!!
2. test your paper punches before using, make sure they cut properly...
3. don't over stuff the envelopes...
Now to make some more cards,, this time I will pay heed to #'s 1,2 & 3...

I finished off some Easter cards and sent them out,,
Now I finished up these.. just fun blank cards.. and then pulled out my stash of card making books.. I am all ready for the rainy season,, Card making..
Unfortunately,, I don't have any photos on this camera.. to post.. but.. now to get busy making more fn cards...

I haven't started making any cards yet, but I have it marked down in my calendar that this has to happen this week!! The weekend of May 1-2 is now less than 3 weeks away. Geesh, April is on speed dial of something! I don't make many cards so this will be a true challenge and I have a few ideas rumbling around in my brain that I think will work.
On a different note, stay tuned for tw separate giveaways that I will be posting this week for our Jubilee. Gott get rolling on reminding Farmgirls here that the Jubilee weekend if coming up fast now so we don't want to miss out on some good old down-home Fun!

Well, of all the cards I made (in abouve photo) they have all been used... now I need to make some more..
Card making is a great break from sewing... and house renovations,,, lol!
