I do miss those Dandle days, and my bubble baths help me reach Ataraxia.

Dandle and Ataraxia set in while I was shelling peas tonight. I remember the smell of the freshly popped pods and the taste of those little balls of sweetness in my mouth, as a little girl in my grandmother's garden.

Ataraxia sounds like the name of a sci-fi heroine to me.

Hmmmmm.........Good word, Krista. I like the idea of living in an elenge location (remote meaning....not the other meanings :0)

Ataraxia, something we all need. And yes Chris sounds like Sci-fi. Lol.
I've lived in an elenge place before and I don't mean remote, though that would depend on who in our family you asked.

I have been reflecting on whether elenge can influence our memory of time. Do the elenge experiences make it feel like time is flying by in retrospect? Maybe? My adult years with their routine tedium seem to be flying by so much faster in retrospect than a childhood so thinly sliced with novel experiences.

Yes, Krista you do. Sorry I was not thinking.
Your dog is such a doll and love that face. And her coloring is fabulous!

I love your beautiful pup! One day I want a great dane. I think it would be fun to have a black and white one and see how many people think it's a calf LOL!

Oh Karen her abuse is outrageous! All those dang cuddles from the kids everyday and the never ending naps. She has a really rough life!

Heather, my previous Great Dane was black and white. She was a mantle rather than the harlequin which would look more like a cow. But she was beautiful! I really do want a harlequin one though! That will be my next dog. Maylee sure loves playing with the cows so I can only imagine if you got one how well it would fit right in!

I apologize for my delay in my last 2 words. We were extremely busy over the weekend rebuilding the cow corral.

13th Word

Noctivagant - someone or something that wanders or roams at night, meaning "night-wandering".

14th Word

Wabbit - tired, run down, or lacking in energy.

Who knew this was a real word and not just how Elmer Fudd said rabbit?!

Krista I love your new words! I was Noctivigant as a child by sleep walking. My mom would always find me on top of the dining room table wrapped in a blanket, LOL.

Wabbit is hilarious, who knew? I have wabbit days at least once a week lately.

A day hemmed in prayer is less likely to unravel.

LOL, Wanda Sue. Our household noctivagant prefers displacing her dad in the bed so he's been looking a little wabbit lately.
