Hi Sisters!

I just wanted to take some time to share my thanks with each of you. With all of the darkness that seems to be coming at us everyday, I’m so very thankful for a place where I can come when I’m feeling down, knowing that I will find a smile among the words we all share here. For my mental health, I’ve made a very conscience choice to avoid Facebook for a few days. To me, it’s no longer a place to stay connected to others. But I know that I can come to the main forums or the henhouses to find like minded friends. I’m thankful for each and every one of you. And I’m glad we are all in the same wildflower bouquet!! Sending love and hugs to you all!! :)

Karen :)

Love and hugs to you too Karen! The MJF forum is a wonderful place and I’m so glad to be a part of it with you and all the wonderful Sisters.

I am thankful for amazing farmsisters as well. I also want to say I'm proud of you for taking a step back, Karen! So many people are addicted to facebook and it amazes me how much people let it influence their lives - and usually not for the better. I've never joined it and never will. Way too much drama for me to handle LOL!

I hear you Karen. I'd rather surround myself with God's light and goodness than to dwell with all the hate and darkness these days. I've actually cried many tears over the last couple weeks and felt so much pain for others. As an empathic its not hard to do. I'm with you and I too feel the joy here being with my farmsisters! Thankful for this forum and my sweet caring Mama hen!

Karen,
Thank-you for bringing your words and thoughts to us. I agree with you on FB. I had to get an account for school and peek at it (no friends or sharing).....I sometimes get off of it and am confused about what is what. I don't do the right exercises, eat the right things and I need to look up 62 health issues that I clearly have according to someone I don't even know. OY!
The darkness is overwhelming at times. How can there be so much hate in the world; how can it feel good to hate? It is truly a breath of fresh air to belong to the Wildflowers and be able to be part of an uplifting and supportive sisterhood. You all (Y'all) fill my heart with your posts that show the beautiful character that, I know, is spread throughout your homes and your communities. Keep shining that goodness and light to all around you! Keep up the good work, Wildflowers! I am proud of you and am sending virtual hugs to you all.

Jeanette, you said that so beautifully! FB is definitely not what it used to be...not that it was great to begin with. I got off of it at the first of the year and just recently put it back on my phone just to sell something on marketplace. I do NOT miss it at ALL!!! Even just scrolling for 5 minutes leave you feeling BLEH!!! So I imagine what kids feel like after scrolling for hours...it just scrambles your mind.
I am also so thankful for all of you girls! This is a positive place to be :)
