There is a lot I am grateful for, and being here among all the wonderful ladies is part of it, even though I'm not here much.

November is that month where we can start in a quiet way and enjoy the changing of the weather and its gifts. I love the migratory birds that start arriving at our bird feeders, the falling of acorns and Hickory nuts. The cooler weather for most of us is also a great welcome after the long hot and humid summer. This coming Wednesday, November 5th , there will be a supermoon. This means that"the full moon coincides with the closest approach to Earth making it appear larger and up to 30% brighter than usual" according to website Geography of the Earth. I sure hope we have clear skies so I can see it too!

Thank you for checking. I am feeling good, but my nose feels very stuffed up. The packing will be removed on Monday - and 11 am Monday won't come soon enough. LOL! I remember them saying something about how great it will feel when they remove the packing they put in during surgery.

Linda hang in there, Monday will come soon. I know you can't wait to get the packing out and I hope all the healing is good and you are ready to move on.

Denise, I really enjoy all the wonderful pictures you find and post each month! They are beautiful and fun!

I'm not quite ready for winter yet though we've already had snow. We were in Tennessee visiting my brother and freezing down there when it arrived here. There was 3 inches and it was still on the ground when we got back. I have heard we are to have a possible white Christmas this year. Things have started to get busy which I dislike because time speeds by and I am not close to being ready for Christmas. Usually I am pretty well done by now and the birthdays before then in December too. I really have to get a move on here.

We finally have been having some fall weather with chilly mornings and mid 70s in the afternoon. It has been very dry and we need rain desperately!

It is quite cold here these days. From what I've heard we are going to possibly have white Christmas this year due to La Nina.

Did anyone see the aurora borealis last week? The dogs got me up near midnight and I saw the tail end of it. I tried to wake my sweetie but he was dead to the world.

Just checking in to say Hi to everyone. We are still having wonderful cool mornings and they are perfect for getting in my walk early in the day in sweatshirt weather!!..I hope everyone is doing OK . I can't believe that next week is Thanksgiving and then , BOOM, it is December 3 days later we jump into the Christmas season. I have seen Christmas trees already up in windows and yards full of those blow up decorations of Santa and reindeer and Christmas trees. All of a sudden we are wrapping up 2025 and it has been a year that seems to have flown by for me.
