I can hardly believe we are in the month May! Seems the days fly by anymore.

I hope everyone is enjoying nice weather. We are still in the 50s and 60s here with an occasional 70 degree day. I love it though. We don't plant here till after May 15th due to still the odd freeze warning. We have been having rainy nights and mornings with sun peeking out in the afternoons.

I have been busy doing daily things and purging in the craft room in between. Just find there are things I don't really do much with in there anymore.
What have you all been doing that is keeping you busy? It's been very quiet here.

Blessings to you all.

We leave tomorrow for our B2B cruises from Miami - 11 days from the 4th-15th. I may not be online much. Trying to get to pack before we leave for dinner tonight. Taking his son, and his family, out to dinner for his birthday.

Hi Sherry,
I'm in my craft room sorting and cleaning. We've been busy and I keep putting it off. I really need to get it done.

Sherry and Denise, I too have been reorganizing my sewing room. Last month I had to alter a bridal gown and three bridmaids gowns for a friend of mine.

Laurie,
That's quite a task altering. I didn't have a sewing room when I made my daughter's gown. I laid sheets on the kitchen floor to cut it out because it was the biggest open space I had. Lol.

I've been in the sewing room too; going through and sorting many drawers of fabric. Measuring, stacking in piles, deciding keep or go. It took a couple of weeks but I now have drawers labeled Yards, (3), Solids. Pieces (less than a yard), Fat quarters, Backings, Reproduction ( 5 drawers sorted by color).
And a big bin of scraps.
I went to our guild's retreat and got three tops done. This is one of them; haven't taken pictures of the others yet.
