Just seeing what everyone has on their lists. I myself have been doing some paper crafting but finished that and am now trying to get things cleaned up and organized so I can start the next project. I feel like I spend more time cleaning up then getting things made! LOL

I finished a wall hanging; my Mother gave me the fabric kit her last Christmas that she visited, 2004. I had put the top together, but had not quilted it. I just quilted in the ditch. The second picture is the backing.

Other than that, we are starting to pull things together for our cruise. We leave Saturday for Galveston.

Linda that's adorable! Denise I am also paper crafting. I made some tags for Christmas gifts. Thought I was done but decided to expand the Christmas list. DH looked at the dining room table yesterday and said - you know, this is how it starts. We won't be able to eat at the table. He's not wrong! LOL

I love all these results of crafts and sewing that has been happening with all of you!! I don't have anything to show , but this past week, I worked on getting Christmas cards done an d mailed, the tree up and house decorated. Then Thursday we had Warren's coffee group with their wives over for coffee and Saturday we had about 13 neighbors over for coffee. It was fun to spend time with friends and neighbors as the season is starting to get very busy for many.

I finished my UFO of the month for my quilt guild. It was a pattern from a mystery quilt class I took 12 years ago. It was a fun one so I did it again.

Made ten of these little guys yesterday for my class on Wednesday nights. Don't know if they will like the mice but I'm sure they'll like the candy cane and everything else in their treat bags. Lol.
I wanted smaller poms for their noses but this was the smallest I could find.

Denise, those are as cute as a bug's ear. Or maybe a mouse's ear. I wonder where that saying came from...

It's a Christmas miracle! I've been whipping out quilt tops much faster since moving downstairs. The blocks for this one were made by my friend's late mother.
The only time I have to stop is when my cat demands attention.

That quilt will be quite visually striking when finished. I know what you mean about cat helpers; it's like drop everything and pay attention to the cat or else.

So when we went on vacation I dug out a cross stitch ufp. Of course I only did a few stitches because we were so busy. However, I didn't stick it back in the UFP pile when we got home. I dug out a few of my cross stitch helpers, line magnifier and ott lite and spent sometime working on it. I started it about 3 years ago but it isn't even half finished yet. It is a patriotic picture. I have a few more that are unfinished and I hope to work on them the last half of this year and see if I can finish them. I'm not going to tell you how old a couple of them are.

Is anyone else working on anything?

Looks like a nice Log Cabin quilt, Vanessa. I am working on one, also. I am making a lap quilt for someone who wants it for a wedding present. She asked if I could make a Log Cabin lap quilt and I happened to remember I had these unfinished kits, and for once, I knew where to find them. LOL!

It started out as block of the month kits from a local quilt shop - about 18 years ago. I have them sewn together so far, except for the borders. This picture is of the layout on my living room floor before I sewed them together. I will post another picture when it is ready for the quilters.

I am also working on altering a couple dresses and making 2 cruiseship wall hangings to donate for St. Jude raffles on our next 2 cruises.

Working on a baby quilt for one of my daughter's friends. She is having their seventh one. I have made baby quilts for all of them except one. Allison's mother-in-law always ask me to one. Cause she knows I will hand quilt it for her. Just about finished with it.

I love handquilting. It's very relaxing.

Here's a photo of what I have done so far. And what it should look like when finished.

Beautiful work! I think you mean counted cross stitch, not quilting. It's going to be wonderful when you finish it. I tried counted cross stitch once but had to do it under a magnifying glass. It takes good eyes. Mine weren't good enough.
