We had a great time, the house we rented was awesome. Could see the ocean and sunset from the living room window. But sadly due the weather and the Whaling Center being closed due to construction we saw no whales. But we saw so many other wonderful water life. The seals were amazing I entertaining us, a Seagull stole someone’s key and I actually saw it in his mouth when he flew over me. The seagulls and pelicans resting on the same island as the seals, and just so many of them. And the waves were just spectacular, we had so much fun. We will catch the whales next time.

Big Hugs,
Debbie

Sorry to hear that you didn't get to see any whales. I know how you feel - I want to see a moose in the wild and it just hasn't happened yet. I'm glad the rest of your trip was wonderful!

Oh I understand wanting to see moving the wild Heather. We lived in Colorado over 20 years and I have never seen a moose in the wild. I went to the zoo to see one, then I had a hard time finding him in the tall grass and bushes. But I am hopeful to see Whales and moose in the wild one day:/)

Belated Whalecome back, Debbie!

Moose are on my list too. I did get to hike through Catalina island bison territory and see a few. A film crew left them there in 1924. A guide told us if a bison tail is straight up that means they are either going to charge or discharge... And judging by the quantity of meadow muffins we stepped around, their tails are up a lot. Wonder if the same rule applies for moose...
