| I am delighted to welcome September . Not only is it the official month of the Fall Equinox, it also brings hope that the long hot and humid summer for us down here in Florida is going to change. By the way, I looked up the official Equinox information and here in Florida Fall will arrive on 9/22/2026 at 8:05 PM EDT. 20 more days! What is your favorite memories of the arrival of September? For me, it was the arrival of chilly mornings where we had to wear a sweater for the first time. Also, there were apple stands opening up on the way up the Blue Ridge MTS. and that meant my Mom's homemade applesauce, which we all thought was the best. |

| Well , today is The Fall Equinox and we are still hot and humid here in Florida. However, it is a big change in the big scheme of seasons and I am celebrating that change too. Thankfully, as the Earth zooms around the sun, it is tilted and that is what helps us have those shorter days and longer nights. It is very hard to keep having summer like weather when the Earth is tilted away from the sun whose presence gives us heat. Hope and help for us is on the way! |

When is the equinox for you Winnie. It isn't until 8:05 pm today for us. But honestly we are getting fall weather this week. And the rain is adding to it of course. I haven't gotten my fall decor out yet because we haven't been home long enough for me to get much done.
