Hi everyone!
I received my chapter packet! Yeah! I have also received some Valentines! It's going to be great getting to know gals here and making friends. My hubby had rotator cuff surgery on his left shoulder Jan. 24. That is the "Kooks-ville" place I was referring to. ha
Plus, I have a terrible case of cabin fever. It's not at pretty sight.
Anyway, I've been out of touch here and it feels really good getting back! I'm ready to get busy on some more badges.

Melody hope DH is doing well and talking about cabin fever, I think we all are. But I have alot of projects to work on so let it snow. I think I'm going to start on a apron for my sewing badge. And working on some baby items.

Hooray!!! Susan, again welcome! I would like to learn to spin, and have always wanted to try and make my own soap. I have been blessed with inheriting my Aunt's spinning wheel. When spring hits, soon? Lol!, there are some alpaca ranches somewhat nearby,( they sell packets of unclean fiber) that I would like to get to so I can try my hand at cleaning and spinning. Some knitters I know here say it is a challenge, but was fun and interesting to try. Have a great day!

I love spinning! It's so relaxing. Alpaca can be a little challenging to spin for a new spinner though. Carding it with soft wool will make it easier! How cool that you inherited your aunt's wheel! What kind of wheel is it? (Ashford, Baynes, Kromski, etc.?)

Susan, I have no idea??!! It has been in the family for awhile. It is like the huge ones you will see in country and prairie movies.. Have no idea what or how to do it, but hope to try this spring/summer tho. Thanks for the tip on Alpaca!!

Linda is the spinning wheel almost as tall as you are? If so, it's probably a "walking wheel". If it doesn't have a company name on it, maybe it was homemade!
