Welcome Marlene and Ellie! I have lived in Kansas for almost 30 years but I was born and raised in Missouri. I am a farmer's daughter. We live on a small acreage in the country but we don't farm; I just do a little gardening.

I was raised in the city and when I got married I became a small town girl. I still call Kansas City my home, but don't think I could survive the city anymore,I've been here 36 yrs. Like the laid back living. I have 5 grandchildren from 21 to 12. But in March I'm going to be a grandma again. This one is my sons and DIL. They have a 17 and 15 year old. We are all beside our selves. This baby is going to be rotten. I love all kinds of crafts. Sewing, knitting, crocheting, paper crafts, painting, needlework. I love to keep my hands busy. And there's nothing better than friendships. I can't imagine life without friends that share and enjoy the same interest and learning from each other. That is why MJF is such a blessing.

we are central jersey but got banged almost as bad as shoreline. I praying for everyone in new jersey
