I joined the henhouse last week but forgot to say hey and introduce myself!! So...

HI! I'm Trisha. I am 42, married for 21 years, mother of two sons age 18 and 5. We live in Topeka, KS. I'm kind of an urban/suburban farmgirl as I've tried living in the country and it isn't for me but I still want my gardens and my chickens(sadly I have none now - but someday...) and the farm lifestyle.

I'm an artist of sorts. I draw and paint, collage, make dolls (cloth, clay, bead, paper - anything is fair game for dollmaking!) I also make jewelry and crochet, attempt to knit and sew some as well.

On top of all that my nose is usually in a book and I even manage some writing now and again.

That's all I can think of at the moment - but if there's anything you want to know just ask!

Welcome Trisha! So glad to have you joining us. We have a great group of ladies. You'll love them all. If you could email me full name, address, Phone # if your comfortable with that, bday and email. I'll add you to the member info list and send you a copy. We do card swaps and recipes swaps. If there is anything that you feel would be fun to do together, please just speck up and let us know. Carole is trying to get a quilting group stated. Several of us are going to try it, we'll be new to the quilting ways. But it will be a small one to start to. Let me check out the blog that she's giving us instructions on and I'll get it to you. I know you'll love getting to know the girls. If there are any questions you have, just let me know. If I don't have the answer, I'll for sure find it. Hugs,Brenda
