Of course, I would gladly start lol. I keep telling Debbie that I have no clue how to talk about myself lol, So I thought it be interesting to see how this goes for me lol, Okay, I like muted colors, not a fan of pastels. Love antiques, old stuff that people like to throw out. I collect anything stuffed (country, victorian, primitive) stars, hearts, tiny samplers, pinkeeper. I collect grungy wax candles, primitive stuffed dolls, victorian or primitive theme tags. Anything handmade! Dislike - traditional, modern, shades of pink, red, purples. Hobbies, just starting to learn how to cross stitch and coffee/tea stain the fabric for a vintage look LOL, was that better Debbie lol

I love to knit, crochet, barter and swap with my farmgirl sisters. My favorite color is Country Blue and Barnwood Red. I love, love popcorn and I could eat it 24/7. I collect many, things, Vintage Samplers, Vintage Linens, Vintage Sewing Notions (pin Cushion, Thimbles), Old Post Cards and Greeting Cards and just everything old. I love it all. We have one 36 year old son who is our only child and my baby:-) My husband and I will be together 40 years and will be married 39 years in August, he is my best friend and love of my life. We have 3 mini doxies, we just lost our 11 year old Golden Retriever and miss her so much, and we also have a 9 year old canary who can sing so beautiful. I was born, July 9, 1955 and raised in St. Louis Missouri as is my hubby, we met in high school. A part of my heart is still in the Midwest and many ties. My hubby was in the military 23 years and we settled in the mountains of Colorado after his retirement and we love Colorado. We visit the Midwest as often as we can as we still have family there. So, that is a little bit about me, I love being part of the farm and all the wonderful friends I have made over the 4 years are so special to me. And I thank Mary Jane every day for bringing the forum into my life, what would we do with out the farm.
Who's next. Oh come on Tammy you can tell us more:-)
Linda is sick so I know we will be hearing from her when she is feeling better. Get well soon Linda and Brenda.
Hugs, Deborah

Well, I will take a turn! I'm a California girl and will always be in my heart, even though 4 years ago I moved out here to middle America. It is my hope to return to Calif someday.
I am a mom to 4 grown kids. I have 2 sons-in-law and 5 gkids. Love being a grandmother! Half of my family is here, half is in Calif.
I love everything farm and ranch! Love cowboys and westerns, cows and horses. My favorite colors are colors of the ocean, blues, greys, aquas, sage greens.
I really enjoy knitting and began to knot again a few years ago. I'm working at card making and seeing and embroidery.
Dislike shopping unless its antique shops!
My middle daughter and I share an apt. The balcony overlooks trees and grass and it's my favorite spot in the warm sun! I do container herbs in the spring and hope to have success this year with some tomatoes, peppers and lettuce. Maybe try a strawberry plant!
I think this past year has been the year that I have finally began to adjust more to my move. I don't reccomend trying 4 seasons for the first time when you are older! Lol!!
One of my daughters was a longtime Borders employee : ( She introduced me to the MJF magazine and books. Been hooked ever since! I try to stay involved as I can. Last couple years have been some tough ones with my family and I have had to step out of a lot of things. Life is settling down somewhat : )

Perhaps I should write about myself. I am originally from Montreal, Quebec. Although I was raised in a large city, I've always been a country girl at heart.
Married to Stephen, whose hobby is woodworking. He does amazing things. My home is filled with furniture that has a story. We presently live in a small New York village close to the Canadian Border. All of my family is in Montreal. We have a 15 year daughter that is just wonderful. She keeps me quite busy! She figure skates 4 days/nights a week (if not more) and is involved in many school organizations.
I love to learn and I love to create! My hands are never idle!
I enjoy writing and have been blogging since 2007.
I am presently in my dream job. Three years ago I opened a quilt Shoppe, Fibre Junction, in Rouses Point. I teach anything related to quilting. I also teach/host clubs, focusing on the history of women via the needle and thread. Fibre keeps me quite busy!
We have 9 chickens, that I refer to "my girls"! They are all so sweet and quite prolific layers. One kitty named Princess Stella (PS for short ;). I also garden in the summer time.
That me in a nut shell! Thank you for taking the time to get to know me.
Cheers!
