Hello,
I just became a member of MJF after all this time and was invited to become a member of the Scattered Prairie Gals. It made me so excited I could hardly stand myself. I have been enjoying MJF for quite a while and love every farm girl I have met. I love the forums and the swaps and barters. I hope to make life long friends here It is such an awesome place to be, and I am learning something new every day.
I don't live on a farm but live in a dairy farm community and I do love it.
Thank you for asking me to be part of your Hen house.
Blessings
darlene

Hi Debbie,
I went in to all of them once I figured out how to get into them. I am waiting until the April one because March is over Sunday. Then I will join in the project. I can hardly wait.
Is your home at 9000 feet? I live at about 60 feet. I haven't been that high since I was a child in Colorado. My dad loved to fish, I loved to fish with him, ah good memories.

Linda,
I am looking forward to getting to know you better also.
I am I guess a transplant from Colorado, I live up in the Northwest coast area in the Redwood area.
I do love it up here but would like a little warmer. But I will be careful of what I wish.

Yes, Darlene we live at almost 9000ft and we have a Pikes Peak view off our back deck, God's Country. But, the wildlife are what excite me the most, I love them all. I was born and raised in a big city over 40 years ago so living here is heaven to me. I love to visit other states but always look forward to coming back home to Colorado. While my husband was in the military we lived in Savannah for 10 years and loved it there as well, our second home, I really miss the ocean. I love both the mountains and the oceans, wish I could have the best of both worlds out my back door:-)

Hugs,
Debbie

I really do understand what you are saying. I was raised in Arvada and had the mountains I could see from my back yard. I loved my mountains so much, they are so beautiful.
I have been to Pikes Peak and all over there but didn't recognize Forissant but I was younger then when I was there. Colorado is my second love also, I love here because I do have the ocean to look at and I can go to the redwoods and feel I am in the mountains, my dad used to take us to the mountains to fish all the time before I was 12. We went to Poudre Canyon up by Fort Collins, and my aunt used to own cabins up in Fair Play, that was a long way to go but I loved it.
I just don't like snow too cold. I am a spring and summer person and fall I just don't care for winter. Driving in it freaks me out.
I do understand the love of the oceans and mountains. There is nothing like it.
hugs
