Thank You all for the warm welcome. Thank You Debbie for thinking of me!
Just a little about myself.
I farm and ranch with my husband. I worked for many years as the manager of our local Soil Conservation District, but made the decision that the farm needed me worse thank they did. I truly love what I do and feel very blessed that I can work alongside my best friend everyday. We have 3 children and 6 grandchildren and another on the way. Our daughter and her family live on the farm right up the road from us so we get to see the granddaughters quite often and enjoy every moment of it. Our boys live further away, but we travel as much as we can to see them and be a part of the grandchildren's events. I love to garden, crochet, sew and read. I can, freeze and dehydrate a lot in the summer and we raise our own meat. I love knowing where my food has come from and what's in it. I live quite a ways from the largest shopping town so only go once or twice a month and rarely go to the city for big shopping adventures. I am looking forward to getting to know all of you and being a part of the hen house.

Hugs
Julie

Hi Julie,
Guess we both are new to the hen house. You are one lucky farm girl to be able to stay on the farm ...
I would love to be able to stay home and just take care of the farm.
And, like you I go once a month into the city for supplies ... other than than we shop our small little town.

Me too Julie, coffee in the morning and tea the rest of the day. I make several pitchers of sweet tea a day at this house. Usually everyone that comes by would like a glass of tea. So if any of you are ever in the area, come on by and have a glass of tea.

Farmgirl Hugs & May all your Wishes come true.
