Tammy C., I see why you loved it, we like the same kinda books! I don't want to put it down! and one part, a male character made reference to women ,"CACKLING like a bunch of HENS!" I am reading Lone Wolf by Jodi Picoult, Tammy sent it to me and it is really good. I love this author and enjoy reading her books. Any other Jodi Picoult fans out there? I have some books I can share, let me know what you have not read and I will see if I have it.
Connie Summer Rental sounds like a good book I will have to check it out.
Hugs,
Debbie

Tammy and I discovered a year ago that we liked some of the same books. Especially stuff on the Titanic etc.
I have only read one or two Jodi Picoult and not Summer Rental or Ladies Night. Sounds like I should check those out.

I would like to highly recommend a series I just read Book One and Two in (#3 comes out in Oct.) It is called the
Grand Tour by Lisa T. Bergren the first book is called..."Glamorous Illusions" and the 2nd book is called "Grave
Consequences"...it is about a European Grand Tour...that starts in Paris. I had a lovely time traveling Europe with this
group. LOL That is why I read...I get to go to all kinds of fabulous places...and I get to escape Life's Drama in or out of MJF. LOL

Hugs Chickies,
Peggy

Tammy...why don't you just pick out one or two of YOUR favorites. Then I will know that I will like them. LOL
Just put the titles down on here first and I will make sure I haven't read them already.

Thanks for being a blessing girl!

hugs and smiles,
Peggy

Peggy, I will pick out a couple of Jodi Picoult books for you and check to make sure you haven't read them first. Also, I got a new book today called The Girl Who Came Home (description says "inspired by a group of Irish emigrants known as The Addergoole Fourteen, The Girl Who Came Home is a poignant re-telling of the Titanic disaster. It is also a love letter to a shop whose tragic legacy endures, a century on". Look it up on Amazon and tell me what you think. It looks really good, and if you think so too I will pass it on to you, my fellow Titanic lover!

And, Connie, I am ready to send Ladies Night to you. However,I started one of her other books called Spring Fever, and I like it even better. I'm already 3/4 done with it...so I'll send it along to you as well. It is so southern, you will love it!

Henhouse Chicks: Here is a list of some of the books I just bought. If anyone is interested in a particular book/author let me know and I will pass it on when I am done:

Island Girls by Nancy Thayer
Sweet Salt Air by Barbara Delinsky
The Silver Star by Jeanette Walls (she wrote The Glass Castle...one of the best books I've read)
The Lavender Garden by Lucinda Riley
The Yonahlossee Riding Camp for Girls (new author but is getting rave reviews)
My Year with Eleanor (memoir kind of like Julie and Julia but about Eleanor Roosevelt)
The American Heiress by Daisy Goodwin
Savannah Blues, Savannah Breeze and Little Bitty Lies by Mary Kay Andrews

Happy Reading!

Tammy C. thank you so much for sending the book THE STORYTELLER by Judy Pecoult. I have just barely
started it. I have three books going at once. A sure sign of a Book Addict! LOL Thank you so much
for all your special little blessings included with the book. You are just too special for words girlfriend!

Oh, I almost forgot I finished THE GIRL WHO CAME HOME! It was Awesome!
A great Titanic Read! Just loved it. I am reading the other one I told you about called ECHOES OF TITANIC right now. It is good also but so far my favorite is the first one. Let's see if I change my mind when I am done with it.

Big Hugs,
Peggy
