Alright Chickies our Ruth is in the ER with a very bad leg wound, she hurt it on the muffler of the car. She posted a picture on facebook, it looks very painful and bad, so please keep our Dear Friend in our hearts, thoughts and prayers.

Oh my gosh that looks horrific!!!! Poor Ruth! Hoping she recovers quickly and gets lot of help with her pain! We love you Ruth!

Oh I just can barely look....it looks so very painful :( I am not good with this kind of stuff. Poor Ruth....hoping they give her lots of good pain meds and lots of antibiotics to prevent infection!!!

Oh My Goodness...both pictures look awful!!! Did somebody back into her?
I can't even imagine the pain that will cause for a good long while.

You are right though the pictures are bad, and it looks so painful.

Hi Chickies, thanks for the prayers! I'm home, sitting with my leg up. Right now very little pain :)! I have pain meds, but have not taken any as I don't like them. Not what I had planned for my day!!!!! I was going to paint one of our bathrooms. Needless to say, that will be on the back burner for awhile! The stitches have to stay in for about 2 weeks. He used 10 stiches, lots of glue and steri strips. I think he did an awesome job considering what he had to work with! He said it won't be pretty, and I told him I did't care! It will be better than it is now  |

| Ruth - So glad to hear from you we were all so worried seeing your posts and especially the pics; terrible, how accidents happen so quickly! Please take care of yourself and rest take something for the pain if you can even if its over the counter, when you can, let us know how it is going! |

Oh Ruth, geez that looks painful, take care of your self and keep your leg up and rest and take some aspirin or tylenol that will help a little.

So sorry to see and hear about this. Just glad you were able to go home. That sure took some skill by the Doctor to stitch that up. Feel better soon.

Hi Chickies, Update....I slept great last night :)! Very little pain in my leg, for which I am thankful. Later today I can take a shower - Yay! It will feel super wonderful. Dave has gone to get me some more "supplies" to keep my leg clean and dry. Like lots of wrapping gauze. I have allergies to tape, which is a problem.

Ruth...I consider that a gift from God that you are not in mega pain.
That just looked so nasty and painful in the pictures.
