With the new changes......thought it might be nice if we shared again some things about ourselves as we start anew in SPG henhouse.
I will start.
I am a retired mom/gma of 4 grown kids and 5 gkids. My God and my family are very important in my life.
Lived in So Cal my whole life until 5 years ago when some health and personal difficulties relocated me to Ks. Whew!!! A severe change I can tell you!! Still working on that adjustment thing!
Went from a rural home on 5 acres to a suburban apt. However.....I have found that the 'farmgirl' spirit can be with us no matter what!
I actually found I've done more 'homesteading' and 'farmgirl' things here without the stress of an older home breaking down etc. I do however, miss greatly, the ocean!!
I have found a huge park here with lakes that has become my substitute 'ocean' time of serenity. Nice to grab a Starbucks and go there :)
I enjoy container gardening on my balcony in the spring/summer.
Have began knitting and sewing again. Enjoy paper crafting.
Love my silly online games and fb.
Also trying to get back into bread baking, on the easier days of health issues. I want to try some Artisan loaves. We will see!
