Praying for their brother! Because my mind is so chaotic right now, can you remind me what the surgery is for and how old the brother is??? I'm sure it is in my prayer journal, but I am not connecting it right now!
Today I will be making mint jelly and dehydrating more mint, after I am done the kids' school. I also want to start getting some packets ready of dried herb mixtures for friends and families :) Trying to finish up my expert stuff for the herb badge :) I also might be able to put in for my beginner gardening badge! I finally finished the book we are suppose to read. Ummmm not my favorite book, lol. But it was interesting :) |

Prayers going up for their brother,
Shannon your mint jelly sounds good.
I made a different French toast I found on line at AllRecipes, It took flour, sugar, cinnamon, eggs, supposed to be three but two of the eggs had a double yolk, so 5 really. then I added vanila extract and almond extract, Yummy with blueberry and regular syrups over it....
Oh and today I was able to spread some Johnny Jumpup seeds over Mama Kitty's little grave and when it grows it will be beautiful there.
Have a great day everyone, it is beautiful here.

Hi everyone! Julie, I'm praying that all is well with your grandson's surgery. Sounds like you'll be very busy today! I'd love to see a picture of the kittens if you find them.
Carole, I love learning about people's loves, too. To me, the lives of everyman everywoman are much more interesting than those of the rich and famous. It's the true fabric of any culture.
Shannon, you are so energetic! I have yet to apply for my first badge. I'm working on several beginner badges, and really enjoy it.
Darlene, glad you feel a little better. Good weather can really lift our spirits, can't it?
Today I had rehearsal with my little choir at the nursing home. When I "retired" I kept a couple of little jobs that I just couldn't give up, and that's one of them. Music can bring so much joy to people who are lonely and feel disconnected. Our concert is next Thursday, and it's a program called "A Celebration of Faith, Hope and Love." They've worked so hard on the music, I'm really proud of them. I love directing that choir, they are so special to me! |

First time all day I have been able to catch up, everyone sounds as busy as I am.
We have had a couple of tough days for Oliver. Oliver was born with Hirshsprungers Disease. It effects his small intestine, his digestive system and his colon. He has a lot of difficultity having bowel moments unassisted. This also ncludes the release of gas in his tummy. My daughter has to irrigate him rectaly every night, a procedure I help with if his dad isn't able to be home , she also has to tube him to release gas if necessary. Botox injections in his bottom help and he needs one every 5 or 6 months. Oliver is 19 months old and has been under anesthesia 10 times. Yesterday he did not come out of it well, they sent him home anyway. The hospital is 2 and a half hours away. This morning they rushed him back to the ER, he had been vomiting a lot and become very lethargic, by the time the got him to the ER he wouldn't wake up. He is being kept for at least tonight, possibly longer. Normally my Oliver is a very busy, charming toddler but because he has been poked and prodded so much he is not very trusting of strangers. He also has a very compromised immune system so they don't take him out in public to often. He stays with me or his other grandma as we can deal with his problems if necessary. So Oliver always needs lots of prayer.
We have kept the girls busy so they don' miss thier parents and worry over thier brother, but I am getting wore out. They are a busy bunch.
Take care everyone. Back when I can.
Hugs Julie

| Dear Julie, I will keep praying for Oliver. I hate the way the insurance companies have unduly shortened hospital stays when things like this happen. I'm sure your whole family is exhausted, but Grammy's are always on the front lines when families are stressed! Please, please take care of you! |

| Oh sweet Julie! Most definitely praying! It is so hard when little ones are struggling with things! And worse when the insurance dictates how it is taken care of! When my now six year was about twenty one months old, we took her in for dehydration, after vomiting for days. I was a pediatric nurse before having my kids and tried every trick I knew, with no prevail. They gave her an anti-nausea medicine and told us to take her home and give her lots of pedialyte. It was the first time I stood my ground to a doctor and demanded to see the attending physician, because I wanted IV fluids. They finally agreed but admitted her for 24 hour observation due to insurance... It turned out for the best because she quickly got worse. We were in the hospital for almost three weeks due to her having meningitis and encephalitis! All that to say that insurance plays too much of a role, though in our case, it turned out for the best after I insisted on fluids! |

Oh my goodness my sweet sisters I am finally here. it has been horrible. Please keep me and Terry in your prayers. First Sherry a Big Thank you for the sweet postcard of thinking of me. Love it. I had a stint put in on the first of June and Ouch did that hurt. They put a tiny camera up in my kidney. It was not tiny I am telling you! LOL! They finally got the stint and every time I had to got to the go to the bathroom to urinate it had blood for 3 days. Then it stops but that was painful. My hubby has had forgetful spells the last two or three weeks. He is suppose to have an appointment with a nurilogist something when they make his appointment. I hope so. It worries me to leave for the day. Then my computer is giving me fits so don't know what is up with that. But am so glad it worked today. I sure miss all my sisters here. It was depressing. I have got to see what is going on here. Yippee!!! Luv ya all!!!!

| Hi Marlee, I'm so sorry to hear of your troubles. Are you still having pain? I hope your husband's appointment is scheduled soon, I know know how worrisome the forgetfulness can be. Will pray, and keep on praying for you both. |
