Not sure if you are subscribed to "all topics" for our henhouse, but this was posted on the bulletin board when I first took on the role of Mother hen. I still feel strongly about what I said and thought perhaps it needed to be re-posted in the Project Discussion board in case you did not have a chance to read it!
Hello fellow farm sisters,
Thank you for allowing me to become your "hen huncho". I feel that this henhouse is a great place to grab a cuppa and hang out with friends. You are all wonderful members with lots to contribute. I am confident that we can re-establish ourselves as an active hen house.
My goal this year is to continue in Debbie's foot steps. The only change, at this point, that I would like to make is toning down my role as coordinator of numerous activities. I feel that you are all such creative farm gals and I am confident that you can come up with wonderful activities for members to participate. This is all voluntary, of course.
I would like for us to work on creating an ambiance that fosters friendship, compassion and a love of MJF and the simple life. However, I cannot do it alone. I hope to count on your support and friendship in moving forward to a new beginning.

Come on everyone. I think Carole has done a great job holding the hen house together. If we want to have a great hen house EVERYONE needs to chime in once in awhile. I know I am just as guilty as the next person to get busy and not participate, but Carole I promise to really try to do better.
