| Ladies - thank you so much for the cards and e-cards!!! Each one is so special! My children took turns wearing the pin, Darlene :) Aly (the 3 yo) told me she loves my Farmgirl friends. I do too! <3 |

| Funny story... the children are still taking turns wearing the pin... one of the children asked why everything is always green for St. Patrick's Day. Towards the end of the discussion I made the comment that when I was growing up in school, we would pinch each other if we didn't wear green on St Patrick's Day (did anyone else do that???) Anyways.... earlier today two of the kids (5 yo and 8 yo) got in a dispute and the older one pushed the younger one... We've been working on using our words rather than tattling, so I stood back and let them deal with it. The 5 yo told the 8 yo that she shouldn't push - that it was mean. The 8 yo responded with that she was sorry for being a bully. The 5 yo told her he forgave her and not to worry about it because mommy use to be bully and pinched her friends for not wearing the right colors to school. AHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!! Out of the mouth of babes! |

Shannon, it is so funny how kids and people in general do not pay attention anymore. I have noticed the same thing at school. It is almost as if you are playing the game of gossip, because every child has a different idea about what was said. I frequently tell them that our ears cannot hear when our mouths are open...and their mouths are usually open. And yes we pinched people and my first graders used to delight in pinching me, when I forgot my green. Their fun was short lived because scissors, green paper and safety pins had everyone wearing green very quickly.
We are having a tattle tale. problem. Today a little girl came to tell on some other kids who were being mean to a boy. I told her I would watch...go play. We went in the room and did some math. Then the teacher returned. That little boy told the teacher that some kids were being mean to him...He was so surprised when I told him I had watched and it looked to me like he was having fun because he was running, playing and roaring at the other kids. I of course demonstrated roaring...he laughed and laughed.

you just got it. I am glad it just that the Post office is getting slower. I mailed all of the cards on the same day...Funny, huh, well I am glad you liked it. and the vintage card was in my stuff and unfortunately only one, I am glad it is good for your collection. I knew it was old.
