Marlee and Sherry, can't wait to try these out. Can you believe we have to buy zucchini? Didn't put any in this year. Lol. Well, if we plant next year at least I will have tried all these recipes out.

I got recipes this week from Shannon, Marlee and Sherry. They are all very different and all look very yummy! Thanks so much, and also thank you, Marlee for your sweet note. I'm going to make a book for the recipes using plastic sleeves so I can see all the pretty cards, decorations, etc. I haven't quite figured out the mechanics, but I think it's going to be a regular notebook size and I'm going to hand stitch around each recipe with embroidery floss so they all have their own little custom pocket. How are the rest of you doing yours?

Happy Day!

Hey everyone,

I am behind! So I will take the time to write out my recipes this weekend. Lucky for you my zucchinis are not doing well at all, so I will NOT be including zucchinis with my recipe!

I did receive a couple of recipes, but I am to comfortable sitting outside to get up and climb a set of stairs to get the names on the envelops.

Off to continue catching up and crossing stuff off my "to do" list! BTW, going up the stairs to get the envelops is on that list! lol

Thank you , Denise, Amy, Shannon, and Sherry got you recipes and can't wait to try them. I am always looking for something different and they should so Yummy! Amy you had the same idea did of making a book to hold them! Maybe using a paper bag and making an album. This swap was so fun, because I haven't been doing swaps lately but this is my start to become active more with my sisters.

Hey everyone,

Finally made it up the stairs! lol A big thank you to:

Denise for her Zucchini Alfredo - sounds yummy! I'm think my new kitchen gadget - UberChef® Premium Ultra Sharp Stainless Steel Julienne Peeler & Vegetable Peeler - will work beautifully for that. Love that gadget. Well worth the price. Here is the link on Amazon: http://tinyurl.com/p47r9mj

Marlee for her Zucchini & Shrimp (How does she know I love sea food?) and for the kind note. You're such a sweetheart.

Shannon for her Frosted Zucchini Brownies - talk about hiding the evidence! lol It sounds delish! Anything with chocolate is good in my book!

Sherry for the stuffed zucchini! Just love how you do your recipe card. You're so talented! Color picture and all!

Amy for the zucchini crab cakes - another farmgirl sister after my own heart! I must ask, what is old bay seasoning? I'm thinking old bay leaves! lol

Thank you ladies for the yummy recipes.

I know, the recipes are amazing, aren't they? And I really enjoy seeing the different ways the cards are done. It's so fun! Old Bay is a seasoning blend that's very popular around here. Both our nearby bays, Delaware and Chesapeake are famous for the blue claw crabs, and Old Bay is almost always used in crab dishes. It's also used in other seafood, but we like it on other stuff too, like corn, popcorn, veggies, even potato chips (right Shannon?!). I liked your funny thought of old bay leaves -- how about some old bay rum too? Hee hee!

Happy Day!

I'm sure you are not surprised that I'm a bit behind. I seem to be chasing my tail these days!

So, I bought these printable recipe cards, thinking that I can save some time and it said that it came with envelopes - bonus. Have them all printed, but no envelops in the pack - wrong description. I now needed to buy special envelops to send them. Bought some on Saturday and they are too small - wrong size on the envelop. So I'm back to square one. I will use the larger ones again. And here I thought I was going to be fancy and all. Sigh .... Some of you may get both Aug and Sept at the same time. I did get Sept printed out! Yea! I'm off to bed! Cheers!
