| Today I sewed seven, yes, seven pillows from treasures purchased from a friend who passed away. The family had a crafter's estate sale at Betty's home and all the rooms were full of different things. I purchased lots of quilting fabric, plus some cutter quilts, and chenelle cutter spreads, some unfinished projects and also old quilt blocks. Today I simply sewed quilt blocks together for front/back of pillows and one is a piece of embossed flowers chenelle from a spread. They were fun. I purchased one body pillow at Bed Bath and Beyond for $9.99 instead of bags of filler at a craft store for $15.00 for two pillows. Anyway, seven pillows (2 for my glamping) and rest on the couch, for very little cost. They look so pretty and country. |

Sounds like you had a great treasure hunt and found special things to work with which will also give your great memories of your friend.
