I have been blessed with stacks of old Country Living Magazines my husband purchased cheap at an auction. As I page through them and then toss to paper recycle, I tear out recipes, and also stories I know others will like, or neat photos, drawings that I have made cards with. Just today I made about six cards and mailed them out after writing messages. A quilt on when to a quilter, a reading one to a reader, etc. I even sent my granddaughter one about a raccoon. Fun and easy ideas out of not much time or cost. And, yes, I am really working well through those stacks of magazines as I don't like having such things piled up.

Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for what he has done. Philippians 4:6
Just follow God unquestioningly. Because you love Him so, for if you trust His judgment there is nothing you need to know.

I love the old country Living Magazines! What fun you are having going through them too. They hold a treasure trove of all things country and homey. Plus I always love their recipes and crafting suggestions.

Katie, you're a girl after my own heart! I save lots of things from magazines, including picture for cards,s crapbooking etc. I never thought of sending clippings to people, though. What a thoughtful idea!
