Please celebrate with me -- After six month of chemo, injections, and being sicker than I have ever been I have finally tested free of lymphoma. I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for the cards that brightened my days. My doctor said it will take 6-12 months to feel normal again but I'm feeling good now and already starting to put the house back in order. The only downside is that I developed DVT and venous insufficiency from the chemo but I'm hopeful that will go away.

It is so wonderful to hear this very good news from you, Judith. Hugs and prayers continue for you that the residual effects of the chemo will go away very quickly.

Judith, I am so happy for you that the chemo treatments are over and the Lymphoma is gone! It is also wonderful that you are feeling like you are getting back "in gear" with your life. Take care and enjoy doing those things you haven't felt like doing and not long now until Fall gets here.

Ed and I keep saying we don't need to go to any more thrift shops, ... but we do! We love thrift shops and always find something that we need. LOL!

Today I'm filling boxes to take to Salvation Army. Lots of odds and ends I don't need or use anymore and my tiny closet is so full I can't hardly find what I'm looking for. Time to clean it out; so many things I love but don't wear anymore.

Thrifting is a great way to spend the day!
I think except for the clothes they get for gifts and their underthings, my daughter has always bought all 4 of her kids clothes at the thrift shop. She keeps them in tubs for summer/winter and they get passed down. Her boy is the youngest and the jeans and t shirts get passed to him. She sure saves a lot of money this way. They have been able to do so many things because of it.
