Winnie and I were Easter partners a few years ago and she made this Egg using those Vintage stickers from her mom that she talked about on another thread here, but I could not find it! LOL!
I display it every year! Nothing like Farmgirl Art!!

| Thank-you Connie and everyone for the sweet comments. My Mom loved to decorate eggs and every year she would blow out regular size and goose egg size(when we could get them). The weeks before Easter, we would set up a card table somewhere with all of mom's trims, buttons, stickers and etc. and craft eggs to hang on an egg tree. It was some of my fondest memories of early Spring. When she died, we found a bunch of blown out goose eggs that nobody else wanted. I took them and when I have a special occasion, I try and decorate the egg like we used to do so many years ago. Connie, my Mom would be so thrilled that I was still making eggs and that others were enjoying them too!! Tomorrow would have been her 102 birthday so this post is the perfect Birthday Wishes in her honor!! Thank-you so much!! |
