Well, those Hurricane force winds this past week blew in a wonderful box full of spring goodies~!! Thank-you Denise for so many wonderful goodies!! I am sure I will enjoy everyone one of them too.
Check out what arrived.
There is the cutest bunny kitchen towel, a yummy lemon poppyseed mix, pretty paper napkins, a lovely notepad, two adorable china lambs, a pretty card and sweet message, an always needed umbrella. a very cute glass cozy, and............a Russell Stover box that HAD a chocolate cross!! At the Log Cabin, this is what happens when a certain Farmboy brings in the mail and there is a box of Farmgirl mail!! Pretending to ''see what was sent", it is only a ruse to see if chocolate arrived in said box!! LOL!!! Then, I hear," Oh, let's have a little taste of that chocolate!" And the rest is history!! One ends up with an empty candy box!!! LOL!!!!!!
Thank-you Denise for lovely spring things and a good laugh and fun with the chocolate!!
PS, I will be hosting our second Annual Farmboy Swap again in time for Father's Day!! |

One item finished and the other half-done. Hope to finish soon, if I can walk the plank to my sewing house to get the fabric I need. Here is what I mean -
They just put the first coat of oil base porch paint on the steps to the back door - AND the front door. Ed says no problem, he can get from bottom to top in one step - he has long legs. I have a hip replacement and am shorter. LOL! So Ed put a board across to my step stool for me to get in and out of the house. LOL! I'll let you know what my hsoptal room number is. Just kidding!

| LOL! Donn't worry, Ruth. I have been across the plank a few times so far - not to the fabric, though. Most of what I need I brought to the dining room before they painted. LOL! Without the plank I could not get out of the house. And there are more steps in the front, so this will be my entrance/exit for a few days. Tomorrow we will be at Ed's house laying wood snap-n-click flooring. |

When we hen date for our neighbors that year they went home to New York, I was scared of that Rooster! He was so big up close too!

| The big roo in the young hens pen sometimes acts like he might like to get me...but when I toss in a bit of scratch, he immediately goes to fill his belly. That gives me time to gather the eggs and toss three handfuls of kibbles and bits. He does love his dogfood. |

I went to the post office to pick up a package today. It was from Ruth.
She was my spring swap partner. Wow! WOW!!!
Thank you for the goodies Ruth.
Garden gloves and zinnia seeds!
A pretty little picture frame, and I have just the pictures for it!
Some sponge cloths,
A cute towel, and that long legged girl reminds me of Baylee!
Then there is the teapot fabric...one yard. Wow! So pretty!
Oh and the chocolate bunny who was hiding when I took the photo.
Maybe he thought I would not eat him if I could not see him...I fooled him...now his ears are in my tummy. Smooth rich chocolate.
Even her little package decorations are precious.

Winnie - My Spring package arrived in the mail today! WOW! That came quickly. Thank you so so so much! I love everything in it - The dishtowel with the 4 added squares of MJF "Bee" fabric is wonderful; I love the soft cotton dishtowels. I hadn't seen that fabric before - is it an older design? The little basket of goodies is so cute, the potholder made on a child's loom (it matches the dishtowel), the vintage linen with tatted edge, the soap and scrubby cloth you crocheted will come in handy after a day outside. And the Orange Blossom honey (a staple in Florida homes according to your note) will be welcome in my evening tea. I love your little notes on everything. Thank you for swapping!
