Hi,everyone! I'm new to the Scattered Prairie Girls. I live in Texas, I have four adult children, one daughter-in-law, one son-in-law, one grandchild on the way, and a dog named Chloe. I work at a local community college but I am considering becoming an elementary teacher. I signed up for this forum to connect with other farmgirls. I am currently an apartment farmgirl, but the goal is to have an acre or so for chickens and raised bed gardens. The main hold up is money, of course. I am a beginner at all of this, so friendship is appreciated.

Yay, Sandy I see you made it! Welcome! So nice to have you here at the Scattered Prairie Gals. We have a few gals from Texas here. We are a smaller version basically of the main forum which is able to help us on a more intimate level get to know one another. Appreciate if you would check out our bulletin board. That is where things are posted that come from the farm as they oversee our group. If you have any questions I am more than happy to answer them or find the answers for you. We have a wonderful group of caring friendly women here and I hope you will make yourself at home.

Welcome Sandy -- I look forward to getting to know you. You will like it here; the is the best group of women I've ever had the chance to know, even though I've never met any in person.

Hi Sandy, welcome. I have sent you an email with a little info sheet to fill out and let us know a few things about you.

Hey the rest of the hen house, if you need me to update any of you info on your sheet now is the time. I will be getting Sandy's info to you as soon as I get it back from her. But will be glad to update anyone's that may need it. Just let me know.
Thanks girls

Linda your sheets should have gotten to you by now. Really you should have been the first to get yours. I put your new address on the envelope. Let me know if you do not receive it soon and I will mail you out another set.

Thanks, Sherry. I did get the birthday list and just found her info sheet stuck to the back. The birthday sheet I got is dated April 19, 2010 - is that the correct one? It does have Sandy's name on it.

I do not like the mail delivery here. I have Informed Delivery, and in the past month there have been at least 3 letters (2 were bills) that I was told would be coming and they never got here. Because the large envelopes are oversized, they do not show pictures of them, so I didn't know I was missing them.
