February is going out here with rain ushering it into March. It's getting to 51today and I'm sure the rain will wash away the snow and salt. Lots of green grass showing through so there isn't much snow left to wash away.

We've had pretty constant 40s at night and 60s in the day. It's been a very mild
February here.

We are warming up today after a cold rainy day yesterday and this morning. The rest of the week should be min the pow to mid 70s. Spring is bursting out down here in full force now that the many cold days with temps in the low 30s at night seem to have gone. My Azaleas are becoming more beautiful every day . They are old plants from when we moved in this house in 1984 and Warren planted them all in early spring 1985. They are the ones down here with the larger blossoms so when the bushes fill out, it is a sea of pinks and white flowers.

High 60s today. Almond trees are blooming and blossoms on the plum tree are starting to pop out. Allergy season is here.

The ground under the trees look like snow. This is/was a major grape growing area. It got to where there were more vineyards than the harvesters could handle so many pulled out the grapes and planted Almonds. I don't drink but having the almond products is fine by me.

Well we are at 32 with a wind chill of 25. I don't think it feels that cold but it's getting up to 60 with wind gusts to 50. Good day for the craft room.

Today we had a lovely Florida end to February. It was cool this morning, not humid at all, and warm sunshine up to 76 degrees for awhile. We are going to continue a mild weekend and start to next week. Then a front moves through and things will collapse way down again. Such a roller coaster so far this year.

Well, we are supposed to hit 90+ everyday starting Wednesday- Saturday. That is really unusual for April. However, the following week looks to be back in the mid to upper 70s which will be more normal again. 90 degrees so early worries me because we had such a long hot summer last year.

I was up until 4 this morning. We had watches and warnings for severe storms and tornadoes all through the night. I haven't heard if there were any touchdowns yet. After they were over we has some critter running around outside oue window on the roof doing who knows what. Think it was a raccoon. Very tired this morning. I know I'm going to need a nap because I can't run on 4 or so hours of sleep. I hope everyone is getting better weather.

Yesterday and today, beautiful spring weather-- but they are predicting 80s next week and I would really like to enjoy spring longer than a week before summer sets in.

I know what you mean Judith. As soon as we start to get nice weather it goes right into hot temps usually.

Blustery winds all day and rain headed out way tonight. There will be stronger storms in the northern counties on the Georgia border as this cold front moves by and then reduces our temps back to the 70s instead of the 90s!! I am happy about that change!! It has been a hot and humid past 4 days and it is way too early for that nonsense!!
