Raining today and we need it. We haven't had rain in quite a little while. On Friday we spent the day cleaning out the flower beds and cleaning up the last of the leaves. Making all ready for a long winter's nap.

We had a warm up last week that worked out for everyone. My youngest and her partner came down on Wednesday and the nice weather made it perfect for being outside and doing things. We were also able to eat Thanksgiving dinner outside on the porch and it was very relaxing . We are now having some rain and a cooler touch again , but still in the 70s.

Cloudy and cool all day. We could use some rain but nothing much has happened beyond a sprinkle the last few days,

Finally getting some white stuff…there might be an inch on the ground. It’s been the perfect day to hunker down, drink tea, and watch football! :)

We just had some rolling thunder here a little bit ago which is rare, and I guess there might be a Waterspout out in the ocean by Eureka.
The thunder was loud. It is raining now.
hugs and stay warm.

We have had a string of days in the upper 70s and low 80s and another 6 days are supposed to be the same. It gets down to the upper 50s at night so at least it is cool and that lasts into the late morning. It sure isn't feeling like Christmas right now.

We have another 2 inches of snow on top of old snow and ice. Temps are hovering near freezing which could make for icy roads. The snow is so beautiful though. :)

It was grey and dampish here today!
Wasn’t bad and the ground was still.
Hopefully a sunny day tomorrow.

They told us 1-2 inches. Thats what we have in the picture. Now 3 hours later theyare saying 3-6.
We already have 4 or 5 now. We shall see! Winter got mad I guess and decided to come back and stay this week.

WOW, Denise! Sometimes I wish we had snow days like that in Texas! I grew up in Illinois with lots of snow in the winter months and like waking up to a nice white lawn, especially if I don't have to go out in it.

It’s so beautiful! :) Our main mountain pass was supposed to get hit pretty hard last night according to forecasting. A friend was driving home from the Seattle area and said it was basically bare and wet. Lol

This is on our way home yesterday afternoon. Our neighbor built a huge snowman. I think around 7 ft tall and big. Might still be there in July! Lol. I'll try to get a picture when I go out today.

Denise, your snow is pretty. However, we have had a ton of it here in Minnesota. 18 inches last week. This morning it was 18 degrees. Grey is the color of the sky, but it is great quilting weather!

Well you are up there in the north country, so I am sure what we get seems minimal to you. Down here it is a different story. Here is the picture I took of the snowman.

Wow, those snow pictures sure bring back memories of growing up in Virginia. While, I hate the disruption in getting around, there is something peaceful and beautiful of a snowy day. It is always so quiet outside.

We had a warm up over the first part of this week and today it was stormy and rainy as th ernst cold front pushes down the state. We will be back to temps in the low 60s during the day and mid 30s at night. This is cold for northern Florida but also typical of January and early February weather.

We had another storm go through last night. We only ended up with 2 or so inches. Not the 6 they predicted. Supposed to get a bit more tomorrow. I am loving this weather. Makes me want to make things cozy inside.
