Heather we have lived in cold with snow all our lives. We were raised in Missouri, and we just moved from Colorado where we lived 23 years.
Dont get me wrong I love snow especially at the holidays, but we are happy now with our beautiful coastal weather. No snow to shovel or temps below freezing.
I am Ill enjoy all of yours from afar. |

| I'd say you've had plenty of experience with snow! I've lived in Michigan and Ohio so I have no idea what it's like to not have snow. Maybe one day I'll enjoy a sand man too LOL! You could always go for a winter vacation if you miss it that much :) I'm going to send that picture to my mother in law. She'll love it. She's done with winter and ready for flip flops. I'm still enjoying my boots! |

We have. Beautiful sunshine! Maybe it will be warm.
Well it made it into the 70s...so our front door was open all afternoon. I felt better today. I finally stirred up
The mayo cake. I've been wanting to try it. |

Heather, it is good to feel like checking In. I loved your conversation with Debbie about snow.
I was born and raised in Texas. But my first three and 1/2 years were spent in North Texas. Then we moved to Lubbock,( that is in the panha dle) then we moved agaiN . THIS TIME I WAS almost
Five .
We were living 3 miles from the New Mexico line when they found those little Grey people
And their busted up flying saucer.
That winter we had deep snows. My daddy brought in buckets of snow to melt for us to drink.one day he got on the tractor and went to town to get some meat and veggies from the rented locker box...I remember quite well...because I feared for his.life

| What a story Marilyn! That's a good reason not to like snow. I have happy memories of snow and my dad - we (my sister and I) got new ski pants for Christmas. The next day we had snow. There was a big hill in the driveway that was paved. We sat down and dad grabbed an arm and a leg and gave us a pull to start us on our way down the hill. It was so much fun, but we tore the butt right out of our new pants from sliding over the rocks frozen in the driveway. I don't remember but I'm guessing mom wasn't as thrilled as we were :) |

Good Morning My Beautiful Wildflowers, did you ever have a swing like this? I did, my hubby put one up for me in Colorado 10 years ago and I loved it! I hated to leave it but I am to get another one at our new house. Woo, Hoo!
