Awww! What a cute picture.
Here's the new baby boy:
He has a little white on his face, a white belly, and look at his tail
Just a little white tip.
While the pictures are uploading lets see if I can get the helicopter I mentioned before
I'll post this one and see if I can get a few more pictures to work! |

One of the benefits of farming is getting to see sunrises like this!
Double trouble LOL! We just call them Twinny since we can't tell them apart :)
this is what they do if you don't pay them enough attention
waiting to attack!
This is Strawberry Shortcake. She's the next one due to have her baby. She's actually past her due date but she doesn't look ready yet. |

| Thank you Heather for sharing pictures of your babies, baby makers, and gorgeous views!! It always makes me smile! :) I love the twins…are their noses a tad different? One looks like the coloring goes straight across the nose and the other looks like the coloring goes up to a point…or is that just the light doing that? |

Karen - I'm not sure about their noses. I didn't notice it before but I see what you're talking about. I'll have to look tomorrow! One of them is a meower and the other one is quiet so that helps some. We have so many cuddly kittens this year. Unfortunately most of them are males so there's going to be a lot of fighting going on next year.

| Strawberry Shortcake had a baby girl! I haven't taken her picture yet - I forgot to take the camera out tonight. She's a tall, beautiful baby :) |

We had another baby boy. All the ladies were checking him out:
The one on the left is the heifer from Strawberry Shortcake that I never got around to posting a picture of. We only have a few more to have babies and the next 2 are due in a couple weeks.

Quick funny story:
This morning I was admiring the way the moonlight was looking through the cloud cover wishing my camera would capture the way it looked. Well - do you know what happens when you have your "head in the clouds" while walking around the pasture? You walk right into the electric fence you put up to keep the cows our of the new hay pile! What a shocking reminder to pay attention to what I'm doing :) |

I wasn't laughing about it at first LOL! I've been shocked so many times in my life by the electric fence. The worst is when someone is being funny and grabs you and then grabs the fence - hurts twice as much that way!
Lets see if the picture fairies are in a good mood:
This is how we make hay
Nathan's job was the baling
This is my chariot
and my view
I get the bales and load them on the wrapper
My father in law runs the levers to wrap the bales
Then we had to haul them all home!
This is a lot of them but not quite all of them (this is the pile I was walking around when I found the fence LOL)

The current view from my "office" window (looking out the milk parlor door):
Fall is here - the leaves are changing, there is dust everywhere from the soybeans being harvested, and tomorrow it's only supposed to be 46! |

Heather you should print that out and frame it for your office. So when it is cold and snowy out this winter you can look at your picture and dream of next autumn.

The only problem with that is I LOVE the snow! I'd be too busy taking pictures of snow and playing in it to enjoy the fall photo LOL! I really do love all the seasons though. I wouldn't be happy living in a place that is the same weather all the time.
It's chilly and windy here today. We restocked the wood pile this morning - there's a 30% chance of some snow flurries in the early morning hours!!!!!! I'm already planning on having a hot chocolate for morning milking :) It'll have Halloween peeps in it though so that's fallish right? LOL! |
