Sherry in our area there are a lot of adults who paint the rocks and then leave them to be found. I got started on this when I was in Redding, I have seen them all over here in my County as well! Darlene |

Such fun ideas. The park where I walk has beautiful gardens at one end. People are always leaving rocks in the gardens for others to find. Every time I see one, I smiles!! :) |

Darlene this is a wonderful idea that people painted rocks and left them for others. I love the rock you painted me one time with a fall scene on it. I keep it by my faux fireplace in my LogCabin room year round. |

I made two hearts yesterday just out of scraps from the fabric I was using on project. They turned out really cute. So now where to leave them? I have a few ideas. |

Another easy DIY Craft is making envelopes out of napkins. I have some envelope templates, but you can make one by carefully opening up an envelope and using it to make a template out of a file folder. Then you get some decorative napkins and you have to split the backing from the thin decorative side. Then get some freezzer paper and iron the napkin onto the freezer paper to make it heavier. Then fold and glue your envelope and use it to mail your card. Clear as mud, right? LOL! I'll see if I can find a link for you.
Another way to make an envelope is using magazine covers and pages. There are several ways on Pinterest.

That sounds like a great craft Linda. I think that is something I'd like to try. |

Linda, Are the envelopes just used for things like scrapping? Doesn't seem like they would be heavy snough for the mail. |

Envelopes are fun. I have a book on making them too, from my rubber stamping days. |

Now that everyone has their pretty envelopes made the post office will probably require pain white ones. |

So I have been on You Tube watching how to do the envelopes and they have some great uses for them. I have such a long list of things to craft I don't know if I'll get to them anytime soon. LOL!
Today I will be in the sewing room. I expect to be there most of the day after a run to Staples this morning. |

Hope to be sewing here, too. Sewing the backing for the quilt for my niece and trying to finish up another almost king-size Christmas quilt border and get it to the longarm quilter. |

Some simple easy fabric hearts I found on Pinterest - made with recyced denim shirts or jeans. Would be great for our project hearts.

Those are cute hearts Linda. I can’t get to my machine at the moment so will pass on the hearts. They are nice! I am interested in doing the rocks though. Hugs Darlene |

Energy is a problem; rather lack of energy. My brain is very energetic but the body just doesn't want to. |

I recovered from the nasty stomach flu enough to make it to my ophthalmologist appointment. My vision is finally starting to improve. I was hoping I noticed an improvement this past week and his photos confirmed it. So to congratulate myself we stopped at Jo Anne's on the way home. I had never tried punch needle so I got a kit to do a small one. Just what I needed -- another hobby. Also found a small quilt book by Kathleen Tracy. |

So glad your eyes are doing better. You've gone through a lot.

It's not so much another hobby as it is where to put more crafting stuff. My tiny house is bursting at the seams. |

LOL! That I can agree with 100%.
I'm going through my stuff and am thinking of donating some of the project stuff that I just don't think I will ever finish. There are some things that I just don't like as much as I did when I bought them. And there are some crafts I got to do with my grandsons and I didn't get to see them as much as I would have liked so they are still here.
