Hannah, I thought we had started a thread for our FurBabies last year but could not find it.
We have Heathers thread Farm Fun which we all love and enjoy. She has the greatest stories about farm life.
So, we will use this thread for doggies, kittens, birds, Geckos, Bearded Dragons, Turtles etc and your stories.
We have 4 doggies: first photo is Mama Heidi who just turned 16, second photo Bella who is 13, she is Mama Heidi’s baby. 3 rd photo is Big Bella who is 13 next is Cruiser, 12. The big doggies are my Sons babies, we rescued them 4 years ago. All FurBabies are such wonderful pets and we love them,

 Debbie, I can honestly say that having a dog is truly man's best friend! Your fur pups are sweet but I bet they'd chew anyone up trying to bother yall!! Like my Koda! He may look like a fluffy fur ball but he IS a protective boy! Then I have 'the entertainers'! Tico and Bentley! They keep me laughing AND cleaning! |

This is Mr. Miles in his new sweater. (He hates it...) He is about 12, we think, and rescued from our yard at our old house. He is the best cat in the whole world. ;)
This is Jackson Taylor, but we call him Applejack. Or we did when he was a baby, anyway... These days, he is known as Little Orange Demon. He really isn't a bad cat, but he as into EVERYTHING and he is a brat.
And this fella is the newest addition to our family. Bonnie Prince Charlie, or just Charlie as he is most often known. He is 6 months old and a right terror. I've never had a dog in my life and am firmly entrenched in camp kitty, but I have to say, for all his puppy mishaps, I find him to be very endearing and am not sorry I gave into my husband's pleading. |

Thanks  for sharing your fur babies with us Debbie, Hannah and Dianna. They are all so precious. Here are pics of mine. We have had many dogs in the past, but Angus was our first rescue, and came to us when he was two years old. We were blessed to have him for eleven years. We lost him last October to cancer. We miss him so much, and Merlin does as well. Merlin was also a rescue, part of a whole litter found under a trash can. He will be twelve years old this year. My husband built a bird feeding station in front of the window bench and he can sit there for hours. He is a wonderful cuddle buddy, but only for a little while,
then he is off to nap or watch the birds. |
A day hemmed in prayer is less likely to unravel.

Oh Dianna, Hannah and Wanda Sue I just love all your fur babies and Wanda Sue I am so sorry you lost your sweet furbaby.
They seem to take a piece of our heart with them when they go but we get a piece of it back with each new furbaby! I will never forget any of mine I have lost over the years! |

| I'm so sorry for your loss Wanda Sue, they are truly family. I remember when I lost my Romeo ( persian kitty ) about 13 years ago, I had to take him to the vet and put to sleep, my youngest was only one at the time, Hubs offered to do it, but I said no, I need to be the one. My Romeo came with me, hubs married us both. My father in law went with me and after wards I sobbed soooooooo loud in the parking lot and was throwing up I'm sure the resturant next door was cringing at the sight of me, my father in law just sat there and rubbed my back. I still miss my Romeo today. Huge hugs to you. |

This is my Charley, my saving grace. He's a long haired Chiweenie (chihuahua and dachsund). He is soooo full of personality and has brought so much joy to our family. My sweet baboo.

My Mama Heidi 16 is sick, we spent all afternoon at the vet. I am so worried!

| Oh Debbie, she's so sweet, I'm sooooo sorry she's not feeling well. Was the vet able to figure out what's making her ill? Prayers for sweet Heidi to feel better. xo |

| Yes, April she has a Bladder infection so she is on antibiotics and pain meds. She also continues to lose weight even though she eats like a horse. The vet is worried and wants to know what is going on, he took blood and sent to lab. Hopefully we have the results Monday or Tuesday. Whatever if maybe I hope and pray it is not too bad! |

Introducing Minnie and Maizy. Two adopted shihtzu sisters that were puppy mill mamas. We adopted them in 2018. This was their adoption photo.
Olive the French Bulldog. She will be 4 in February.
And the “boys”…Cubbie on the pillows, Little B on the left, Charlie on the right, and Thomas at the end. Three of the four don’t like to be touched or have people near them…the orange one on the other hand…well, he is orange. And he is amazing.
The only critter in our home that is not in double digits is Olive. And Thomas,is the oldest at 15.

We got Heidi’s Bloodwork back yesterday, she has Pancreatitis and her heart is struggling a bit:-( So, some heart pills and a change to in her homemade food diet so she is not getting a lot of fat. She needs the calories to put on weight, we will feed her a couple more times a day but not a lot at each feeding.
The vet said these changes should help, so I am hoping and praying so! |
