Thank-you, Debbie, I missed all of you, too. I am sorry that I traded my laptop time in for paddleboard time. Next race is on the 20th. New board-4 feet longer and 5" narrower. Hopefully she (her name is Rosso-red in Italian) and I will get some faster results. You are the true definition of 'friend' and I am blessed to call you my friend! All of you Wildflowers bring smiles to my face and warmth to my heart with all that you share. You share a part of you with me-I am grateful!
Christine, a U-pick Patch is a nice lead up to your bucket-list festivals!
Karen, hope you and all the Wildflowers are enjoying your weekend!

Good morning Wildflowers! Our temps are like a see-saw, yesterday was very hot, but this morning is nice and cool enough to open the windows. Have a beautiful day.

Yes, Go! And don’t come back!
We had 90s all week and it looks like they may be gone, just 70s for the next 10 days, and rain. We’ve had a couple of big storms that have started several new fires. Hopefully the upcoming rain will get them under control.

What a cute puppy!
We have the woodstove in the house going. It was rather chilly in this drafty old farmhouse, but it's supposed to warm up into the 80's so we'll let it go out tomorrow.

September and October go by way too fast for my liking. I am loving these days of cool mornings and warm afternoons. Perfect weather in my mind. We were going to go to Tennessee this weekend but plans fell through for cousins to meet us at my brother's so we decided to go in October. I looked at the forecast and I'm glad we changed it as it will be in the 90s there. They live off grid so no ac to speak of and the thought of sleeping in warm temps doesn't appeal to me. I'm sure it will be beautiful there in October. We have never been to TN for a visit.
I hope all of the Wildflowers have a great day!

It was noticeably darker this morning when making the rounds at the usual time. Almost feels like "light a candle, start a cinnamon simmer pot" weather!

Darker here in the mornings now. I am late getting out my fall decor. Usually September 1st but it is still quite warm daytime temps though cool mornings. Have lit the candles!

Good morning Wildflowers! Not only is it Fall, but also spider season, oh my. Where every morning one has built another web on my porch or carport. Those hard-bodied reddish orb weavers. They creep me out so bad, because they are usually low enough for me to walk through if I’m not paying attention. Believe me when I say, it only takes once, and then I’m flailing my arms in front of me like a crazy person every time I go outside, LOL. I’m really trying to appreciate the architecture!!! Have a great weekend, and I hope your paths are web free!!

Good morning! I love seeing the webs but only if they are OUTSIDE. Lol. I definitely do the dance if I walk into one. Lol! Love this depiction Wanda.

Ah, yes. The air is cooler and the brightness in the days is less. Growing up on Vancouver Island, the spider webs existed in abundance all year long due tothe vegetation. I hated getting those webs in my face as I walked to school! I always wondered where the spider was that made the web…. Was it in my hair?! I and many of my friends took to a) letting someone walk ahead of me or held a stick vertically in front of me when I walked. I even held one vertically in one hand while bikeriding…….

Jeanette yes, always let the taller person ( like Bentley ) walk in front when walking through the woods, or a person with a big stick! They seem to build a new place every night and abandon the old one. So you never know if it’s in your hair, aaaaggghhh!

You ladies are so funny, but you sound like me. I walk through them all the time on the deck as I forget. It gives me the weemy, geemy’s as I know that spider is somewhere laughing its butt off at me!!
