Two more days of August and then on to September. I am very happy to put the summer to bed and move onto fall, my favorite season.
September is a quiet month for our henhouse with just one birthday and one anniversary:
Laura Knippers' birthday is September 2, this coming Saturday!
And Debbie Klann and husband, Brad, will have our 40th anniversary on September 24.

Thank you, everyone!
We’re talking about taking a road trip in Montana for our anniversary. I’ve never been to the capitol of Helena so that might be on the itinerary. I remember visiting Virginia City when I was about 8 and would like to see it again. I need to get the atlas out and map something out. You can drive for a couple of weeks and never leave the state! |

| That sounds like fun! For our first (and last because we started milking cows) real vacation Nathan and I drove from Ohio all the way out to Montana. We went to yellowstone then up to Grant Kohrs ranch in Deer Lodge MT. It's a beautiful state! Next time we'll fly out though :) |

Happy Anniversary Debbie - hope you all have so much fun celebrating!
Thanks for the birthday wishes everyone - and I'm sorry I've been so quiet. It was a crazy summer and fall isn't looking much quieter. I tend to avoid technology when I'm overwhelmed but I've missed my time with you all. I'm working on getting back into a fall routine - so I've promised myself that I'll be back in our little Henhouse more.
