Cute Bucket List!! Yes , it is wonderful to welcome Fall's arrival at last. Last night it got down to 65 here so it was nice and cool. Today, it was up in the upper 80s but not as humid as before. But, tomorrow brings back a week with temps in the low 90s and lots of humidity and possibly thunderstorms in the afternoon. We will have reverted back to a typical summer pattern again. Phooey!!
Here is a photo of the Blue Ridge Mts. that my hubby took a few years ago in the fall on a camping trip with the guys. I can't remember if I shared it before but I love these lovely old mountains.

Welcome Autumn
We greet her changing sunlight and crisp blue skies.
We embrace her chilly evenings, roasted marshmallows, fire pits, and warm spiced cider.
We give a cheer for the autumn colors, as leaves change to gold, orange, red, and cocoa brown. Down they come like a hundred falling stars of amber.

| We may get some much needed rain tonight - I sure hope we do. I grew up in Illinois and here in Texas I really missed all the thunder boomer rain storms we got in the summer. Yes, the lights might go out for a while, but we had battery lights to use if needed. |

Love the cabin and scenery.
Unfortunately, our grass/lawn is very brown. In fact, much of it looks like straw it is so yellow. We got 1-1/2" of rain between 2 and 3 am yesterday morning. We really needed it and we need more. |

| I love that photo for today!! It is stinking hot and humid here today again! Forecast is pretty much the same until next week when it cools off a tad. Not a whole lot but at least some brief mornings in the mid 60s. |

| Much cooler temps here. Highs are in the mid 60s. The wind has been quite strong though. |

| Quite warm where we are this week. Went swimming with the grands. Enjoying the ac now. Haven't used our a.c. at home for the last two weeks or so. |
