I am not sure if any Wildflower but Debbie K. knows this, but I am addicted to popcorn Bad, I have been since I was a young girl. I can eat it every single day and often do and I have it for supper many nights.
This Old Lady does not do air popper either. It is cooked on the stove with lots of salt and butter just like the movie theater! Wonder why I am over weight! Now I also love Carmel Corn and Debbie K. also makes the best Carmel Corn I have ever tasted I kid you not!! I just love it!
Is there any other Wildflower that loves
Popcorn as must as I do?
I will celebrate National Popcorn Day tomorrow by eating it for breakfast, lunch much and dinner oh yet and snacks!

Big Hugs,
Debbie

I don’t eat it as much as I would like…I have no one to share it with…John doesn’t like it. :)

I love popcorn too. Most days it is my mid-day snack (lunch).

Haha! I do not think that I love popcorn nearly as much as you! However, Ryan and I do enjoy it quite a bit and will certainly join you in celebrating!!!! :)

Popcorn is my favorite snack. I eat it almost every night and that is probably why I have troubling getting the weight off. I also have it for a mid-day snack. With all the carbs it is probably better to have mid-day. Mine is air popped though with lots of healthy real butter! Guess I'll have a reason to have it today.

It sounds like I don't eat popcorn often enough - This sounds like an excellent reason to add some popcorn to my day!

Y'all enjoy!

I don't eat it all the time but I do enjoy it now and then. Debbie - if I ever make it out to your side of the country I'll have to try your caramel corn!!!

I made popcorn balls a couple days ago. Guess I was a bit early to the celebration :)

Heather, I will have a batch waiting for you when you get here!!!
But until then, here is the recipe so you can try it now....

Melt:
1/2 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. karo syrup
1/2 tsp. salt
Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Boil for 5 minutes without stirring. Remove from heat and stir in:

1/4 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Pour over 3 qt. popped corn in a buttered dish and stir to coat. Bake at 300 degrees for 30 minutes, stirring after 30 minutes.

This was my grandma's recipe. She made it different times of the year, usually in the fall. It's addictive....once you start nibbling on it, it's hard to stop!!!

I just found my MIL's recipe for caramel popcorn balls, I might have to try them this afternoon :)
