I love it, as I love more sun and more daylight. I want it all year long as I love evenings and more beach time.

Me too Debbie, now we can enjoy after dinner walks on the beach. With daylight savings time HBSP’s gates are not closed until 10pm. Through the winter they closed at 6pm. Have a beautiful week everyone!!

Well, I'm gonna be the odd one out and say that I hate it. Haha! We are on the very Western edge of Eastern time, and adding an extra hour of daylight keeps it light here until nearly 11 at night during the peak of things. When I was growing up, we were on "Indiana time", which meant our time never changed. In winter, we lined up with eastern time, with summer, we lined up with central. It was wonderful! I wish they would go back to that.

I'm with you Hannah. My granddaughter has to get on the bus in the dark now. Not happy about that. And there really is not reason to change anymore. It messes with my sleep which is already difficult.

I'm with Hannah and Denise....I hate it! The day we have to set our clocks ahead is one of my least favorite days of the year. I wish they would just leave it alone, it's not natural. I've been reading about how it really messes with your circadian rhythms. There's been talk of the west coast getting rid of daylight savings time...fingers crossed!

There's been talk of getting rid of it here too, but they say if they do, it will stay on dst which means daylight til 11 in summer and dark until nearly 10am in winter! No thank you. Not unless they line us up with central time, because we are too far west for all that! Lol! In fairness, I can understand the appeal for those further east. But I am less than an hour from the Illinois border.

The original daylight times would go back to fall winter as that is the original times. They started springing ahead to give the farmers later evenings of daylight.

Right! But the last time they were discussing it, I read that they were trying to keep it on the Spring/Summer time year round. Then talk kind of died off, and yeah. Lol! Who knows. I know my critters would love it to stay the same no matter what.

Well I hope they let us fall back before they do away with it if ever they do. I don't think Indianapolis changes times. At least they didn't last I knew.
