Hi Darlene - Thanking you for the lovely Christmas card that you sent in the mail. It was forwarded from our old address in Bend, OR, to my sister-in-law in WA, then on to us here in Australia. Thank you for thinking of me & I'm pleased it eventually made it safe & sound. Have an awesome day!!

Thank you so much for the beautiful box of sunshine I found on my porch this afternoon!
Everything is lovely. The cup and tiny spoon, socks and awesome smelling candle as well as the makeup bag and scrunchie.
Thank you for making my birthday month special.

Thank You Debbie for the St. Patrick’s card and the sweet crocheted clover. What a joy to find in my mail box.

Cindy, I just came across my Kangaroo postcard you sent back in January. I love it so much, and it brought another smile to my face today. Thank you for sharing your smiles, I love the verse! Please forgive me if I forgot to thank you sooner. I hope all is well with you and you survived the storms without much damage.
Hugs from SC

Thank you, Laura Bell for the wonderful card and 'zine!

With your card and the help of chatgpt, I learned the things I have been calling "flamboyant finches" are probably actually yellow warblers and this 8 page no-staple mini book layout is so handy to try with Fallon (we had a couple stapler mishaps and put "big red" in timeout).

Laura,
Thank you for the lovely card and zine. Is the card a Marjolien Bastian or your own creation? Very pretty. I love the zine and had to see how it was made. Another item learnand add to my love of papercrafting!
Thank you for sweet note too!

I am glad they are arriving - I meant to get them out for Thanksgiving but with my little family here I just got distracted (in such a good way).

I enjoyed making those zines - Jean Pici invited me to participate in a swap and that's where I learned how to make them. I enjoyed it so much I knew I had to make one just for our Wildflower henhouse.

The card was a Marjolein Bastin - I so admire her artwork and I am always on the the lookout for her cards. I found those sweet cards at an estate sale.

IYKYK! Marjolein Bastian has always been a favorite of mine too Denise. Hallmark stores is where I first discovered her artwork. They sold cards, stationery, journals and ornaments along with her artwork. Always nature inspired and so beautiful!

I worked for Hallmark for 5 years. They had just started carrying her artwork. That's how it knew it was hers.

Mystery solved, so many greeting card connoisseurs in the hen house! :) Was Hallmark a fun place to work? It seems like it could be, with helping people punctuate big life events...

I love Marjolein Bastin as well - her artwork is so beautiful! Denise, I worked at Hallmark for many years through high school and stayed with them part time even after I was working full time. My most favorite job. Probably because everyone who came it was trying to do something nice for someone else, birthday, anniversaries, new home, new baby, sympathy, holidays. It was always so rewarding to witness the care and thoughtfulness of a customer. xo
