That is awesome Heather, you have no cell phone. We do not have a landline as Oregon does not have long distance so we have to have cell phones if I want to talk to family and Wildflowers;-)

Heather mine haven't bloomed but they are up. All my daffodils are up and tulips but nothing blooming yet. We are supposed to get some snow next week. Today's temp was 76.

We have a landlines but also cell phones. I wish we didn't but I have to tell you they have been very handy when we have traveled and needed them.

Not having a cell phone sounds great Heather! My biggest goal is to keep my cell phone and my iPad out of my bedroom at night. For Christmas I got a bluetooth "home" phone that rings loudly so I could hear my phone while I am sleeping. I want to be able to hear my phone in case my dad or my kiddos need me.

I usually keep Facebook and Instagram off my phone - but with our little vintage booths I do need to post occasionally. So I download it - post - and then delete the app right after that.

So sorry Debbie that you have been having computer issues! Glad you made it back. My biggest issue with my computer is that I spend so much time on my part-time data entry that by the time I am done - I just want to walk away from my laptop.

But that being said - my time here with the Wildflowers is the best time so I really should just do that first - before I even start my data!

Laura

These are great ideas. Good point that work commitments can sometimes pull you back in and the importance for having a plan for that. I admire your "gumption" (to borrow a Heatherism) in deleting the app afterwards. Moving my phone charger to the kitchen and enabling all the bedtime greyscale helped my sleep a bunch too without feeling like much of a hardship. Debbie, I had no idea Oregon landlines don't offer long distance!

Happy, Happy, Joy, Joy! Today is my Day to get my hair done, woo, Hoo. I love my hairdresser Beth and I look forward to seeing her every 8 weeks. She sees my vision for my hair and I always look a whole better when she done. I am never disappointed.
I wonder if y’all enjoy getting your hair done as much as I do. I get to spend two or three hours with nothing but women, and I love that!
Off I go;-)

Woohoo Debbie! I can’t wait to see your purple hair. I love, love, love going to the hair salon to feel pampered. I’ve been going to my Judy for over twenty years, and I will keep going back to NC to see her until she retires. She understands me so well, just like your stylist. Enjoy!!!

My hair has gotten extremely long. I am going for a trim and to get some low lights put in. With the blonde I am naturally I don't want to make it too dark. Just something darker to blend in. I have not had good luck with hair dressers here at all so I'm kind of skittish about getting it done.

Look forward to seeing how yours came out Debbie.

No, and I have emailed her many times. I sent her a card today. She is not always good at checking emails especially if she travels.

Oh I love the color in your hair Debbie!

When I got home from our Norwegian cruise, my hair just went curly all of the sudden. So I have embraced it - with very minimal care - I just wash it, add some product and go! My hair appts just involve a quick trim - usually not even 30 minutes. I stopped coloring my hair a few years ago - just letting the grey come in naturally and not at all unhappy about it.

But occasionally I do wish for highlights - so I may have to try that this summer.... we'll see. Maybe your purple will inspire me!

Fabulous Debbie!!

I'm not sure I'd be brave enough to do purple or blue but I hope I don't chicken out having lowlights put in.

What a glow up! I love it! Good luck with the low-lights when you get around to them, Denise.

I'm a chicken too-- I went grey in my early 20's and watched my henna foxy red dye camouflage get more and more vivid over the years until it was more of a Statement. Eventually I decided to let it all grow out to grey instead of worrying about roots. It took forever and looked awkward the whole time. No one wanted to professionally dye over henna and I didn't want a pixie cut. So now I am reluctant to rock the boat. Thankfully, a fellow preschool co-op mom does hair and knows exactly how lazy I am with mine, so she cuts it twice a year back into something presentable while we catch up on our kids' shenanigans.

Looks fantastic Debbie! I haven't been to the hairdresser in years. When my roots start to drive me crazy I color them at home. Every once in a while I trim the ends off. It's usually in a ponytail or bun so I don't worry too much about it.

Before I explain why I'm asking, will you tell me are you more likely to walk away from the kitchen sink while it's running or the bathroom sink while it's running? Personally, I walk away from the kitchen sink all the time while it's on, but I can't think of a time I ever walk away from the bathroom sink while it's on.
