| When we didn't have rain for so long and the top of one of our maples turned all brown I wasn't sure we were going to get any color. |

| It has gone by fast. DH leaves Tuesday for his annual hunting trip. I will have two months by myself. I haven't decided yet what havoc I will create this year. |

| It has been in the 60s to low 70s almost every day of our first 5 days in Portugal, very comfortable. Lots of walking - 2-4 miles daily. Today we go to Lisbon, Portugal, to start the main part of our trip. We have three nights in Lisbon and then onto Spain with 5 more cities to visit. Been a great trip so far - nice people in our group. We meet 6 new people in Lisbon for the main part of the trip. |

| October is a favorite month of mine too. This year, we have had some cooler mornings, but almost no rain. It has also gotten hot again in the afternoons and no longer anywhere close to sweater weather! That is Florida for ya!! It will be another very warm Halloween which I was hoping we might get a nice change this year. |

| Wonderful weather except for the first week. 70s and 80s, windows and doors open day and night; no need for heat or a/c. Maybe this will be a year that the weather is nice for Thanksgiving; I hope so. |

| Every year it is a contest between me and the weather to see if I can make it to Nov. 1st before turning on the heater. We had warm weather until last weekend. Last night I had to give in and turn on the heat. Typical -- it always cools off the week of Halloween. |

| The last few days here have been in the upper 70s. Ugh. I'm ready for hot cocoa weather. Tomorrow starts the rainy time for us and that's what the rest of Fall will be for us. November is always windy and rainy. Drat! |

We have had rain off and on today .
I had to go to Town today to see a different doctor, I tripped the other day in my living room and hit my knee on something.it was notpretty . Bruised and broken skin. I am good. It looks ugly.
Bones are all ok.
How is everyone else doing?
