I don't know about the rest of the country but we are finally getting some real spring temperatures here. Sunshine but of course Spring rains, which for this part of the country means storms and possible tornadoes. But we keep our eyes on the skies.
I do hope May staves off the 90 degree days.
Wishing you all a merry month of May.

Happy May Day! It's our Snowy cat"s 14th birthday and I finished my last chemo infusion this week. Hopefully I will be feeling more normal in a month or so.

Yay!!!!! I am back on again. Not sure what happened but at least I have it fixed at this moment. Do any of you feel a bit of angst when you can't get in and participate?? I sure do! Anyway, May is off to a Florida style beginning with normal days vs yucky hot days. By the end of this month, there won't be any cool mornings.

Judith, I know you are so happy to be finishing your Chemo treatments!! That is a relief I know.

Winnie yay! So glad you got back in. Very frustrating when you know everything you are doing should work and it doesn't.

Happy Saturday everyone! I hope you are all having a nice weekend. We are supposed to get some rain later today - Monday but so far nary a hint of it showing up.

Happy Mother's Day tomorrow for all you Moms! It is a challenging joy to raise children but also a great joy.

Sherry, Summer is here in north central Florida too because this week through all of next week will be inn the mid 90s with several days in a row up to 96. Yesterday it hit 95 for most of the afternoon!!

Judith, I hope each week you are finding a return to feeling better and stronger! I am praying for your recovery as I know it takes time.

90s already Winnie? I hope you did get a chance for some spring weather. We are enjoying the 80s now -- my favorite temps.
Yes -- it's going to take a long time before I can walk around the block but I keep working at it. Patience, I keep telling myself.

Cute, Denise!

Well, today I took my 2 Featherweights to a expert to clean them and make sure all is right. I asked him if he gave a discount for multiples at once and he did give me a discount. YAY!

I've been using my Singer 301A machine - it is running like a top! I love it!

Tomorrow we are going to the hospital to wait while Ed's oldest son (48 I think) has an angiogram procedure on his heart. Hopefully they do not find any blockages. Several weeks ago he passed out while driving, and luckily did not hit anyone or anything. His wife and 2 YO son were in the back seat. We were very thankful. His other tests were ok except for the stress test, that was abnormal. That's why this test.

Camp Papa Mimi officially opened yesterday for 5 days. We have the two youngest grandchildren while their older siblings are at camp and mom and dad are getting a break. So far so good. We've got things lined up to do almost everyday. We are having camp food but not everyday. The weather was nasty yesterday but supposed to be nice the rest of the time. We've never had the opportunity to have them this long and I love it!
