The first Saturday of August was National Sunday Flower Day. Happy Belated Sunflower Day, looking forward still to mine blooming. They are tall just no flowers yet. Have a fabulously fun week Wildflowers.

I love sunflowers!! :)
Karen :)
To quote one of my past preschoolers “Not one of those Karens, but a good Karen”! Haha
Wonderful! Ours have bloomed and dried out already.
MIL and I have a sunflower seed-saving exchange going-- when they thrive at one house, they fail at the other even though we are only 60 miles apart. This was our success year so we are stuffing all the little pockets of a cloth advent calendar she made with leftover "plant in CA in December" seeds and including a big packet of landrace sunflowers for later on in the Dec 25 pocket. Maybe this is our year for that handmade Christmas badge series.
