Hi sisters!

I posted this in the Main forum-- I think that's how I'm supposed to do it? But wanted to make sure if April and Debbie check this forum more often that they see that their wonderful FGOTM packages arrived!

Thank you so much, April! Your beautiful handmade pumpkin pincushion and fat quarters arrived-- just last week, my daughter turned 7 which was just old enough to start taking sewing classes at fashion camp. Ever since she got back from her first lesson, our sweet machine has been working overtime punching holes in tracing practice worksheets and your gifts will be put to good use!

Mama Hen, Debbie F., I love this Susan Branch book! I can't wait to make myself a cozy tea and pore over the beautiful lettering, art, and ideas. Did you pick a dark colored dishcloth because you know how hopeless I am with lifting stains off lighter fabric? Hehe.

You both are on the top of your game with beautiful bookmarks, cards and festive wrapping paper. I am so inspired. Thank you! Thank you!

(cross posting from Main forum, just in case!)

What a treat to find these treasures on my doorstep!

I love the cow goodies, Heather! Did you really crochet this?! It is so beautiful. The tallow soap smells awesome and I had just been looking for Thieves essential oil recipes, just in time to ward off cold/flu season (as are these super portable lip balms). I love that you knew the steer who contributed. Fallon loves the cow "clutter" and has started a little pasture for the herd under the tomato volunteer forest that sprouted around her fairy house.

Wow, Denise! Is this what y'all mean by "junk journals?" I love it! They are gorgeous! How did you get the color palette and textures to be so harmonious in our favorite colors and yet every page is a little different and surprising? Fallon and I both love the 3 string tie. We are going to make short work of filling in the "blessings" note pages you tucked in. This is going front and center on our coffee table for this and hopefully many autumns to come. Wonderful!

My reign is coming to an end, but I will circle back on Halloween to nominate a November queen!

I'm glad it made it before the month was over! I laughed at the dishcloth comment. When I first started crocheting my projects were so lopsided and ugly, but I was so happy to finally be crocheting I didn't care. Guess I've improved a bit over the years :) I still can't make anything to a specific size though. My large cardigan for my mom ended up being about a 3XL even though I did the test swatch and used a hook 2 sizes smaller than the pattern called for.
