Hi everyone - I have been MIA for too long..... life just got overwhelming and I felt like I needed to take an online break. Then I just didn't know how to start again (sounds silly I know) but Debbie has been keeping in touch and her invitation to the Christmas swap convinced me now was a good time.

I don't even know how to catch up with everyone - hope you are all doing okay. I have missed you all and I am looking forward to being back.

Thanks everyone! I can't wait to settle in again.

I can't believe how fast this year has flown by. I have been very fortunate to be able to travel up to visit my kiddos in East Texas and Arkansas quite a bit this year. My son will graduate from UT Tyler this December and has already been working full-time since January. His summer internship turned into a great opportunity and I am so happy for him. My daughter is working as a tutor at a community college and working on her graduate degree in Forestry. We were so happy to have Caroline spend a few weeks down here with us but she started pre-K 3 with Head Start this fall - such a blessing as she is just loving school.

In the spring my sister had a conference for work in Wisconsin so we made that our vacation. We stayed in Minnesota for a few days and then in Wisconsin for a few more. I got to visit some of my bucket list cross stitch and quilting stores but the most exciting thing was all the bald eagles! I've always wanted to see them in the wild and they were everywhere. Truly felt so blessed to take that trip.

I've been busy with my two vintage booths and I started helping a friend with her pet sitting jobs. On top of that, my data entry part time job has just gotten so busy - sometimes it feels like a full time job - making time on the computer not so much fun.

Hoping to spend the next few days trying to catch up with everyone - starting to send happy mail again - and just enjoying hanging out with our Wildflowers!
