So many blessings are to be found, if we just stop and look. :)

We woke to a beautiful cover of snow. First for me as we were in TN when the first snowfall of the season came. Everything is closed which is nice of course the grandkids had one day of school yesterday after Thanksgiving vacation and are off today. It's nothing like it was growing in NY. We had to just about have a blizzard before they closed school. Usually just a 2 hr delay to get the roads cleared. Fortunately I did all my errands yesterday. So today I am doing my chores and then playing in the craft room. Then onto Christmas movies later!

Beautiful! Do you really still have leaves on your trees? It's a beautiful winter wonderland here :)

Yes we do, some of the live oaks shed a few leaves in stages, they are never really bare. Other types lose all of their leaves. I’m thinking we are in for some very cold weather and maybe snow again this winter, which is unheard of in SC typically. But, we have had the biggest batch of acorns this year, I’m talking trillions!! Isn’t that a sign of a harsh winter? Nature is making sure the wildlife have plenty to eat.

Gorgeous photo! I have heard that lots of acorns means a harsh winter. The almanac predicted it because octhe La Nina this year. We still have snow on the ground. This is the first year since we've been here that it really feels like wintertime to me. I'm loving it!
