I can hardly believe I am writing this to welcome in December already! It is a busy month for sure. I am going to enjoy this evening and Friday evening at home. The rest of the nights have things going on. I am almost finished with my gifts and cards.
I am convinced that slowing down is better because the month goes way to fast with all the activities that go on.

I hope this month brings each of you blessings of good health and may you find the true joy of this season. I am grateful for each of the members of our henhouse. Only you can make our coop a special place to be by engaging and posting topics you enjoy!

Fun things to do this month! My grandchildren did a beautiful job decorating the tree for us.

We got our tree up early this year because the tree lot was having a 25% discount on tree prices. Warren helped me get it all here and up and I did the decorating part this afternoon. I always love to smell the pine odor and see the tree full of so many memory ornaments. I hope to find plenty of time to just enjoy this month , the cooler weather that finally arrived here, and the vibe of jolly and joy that comes with this season.

Happy December! :) I’m planning to take some time each day to just be. That’s my plan anyway. I still have some projects to do. We will get our tree on the 10th and decorate it soon after. :)

This will definitely be a busy December for us. The only decorating I am doing for have a few days to is with my "softies" - Christmas quilts, tablecloths, table runners, wall hangings, pillows, and homemade ornaments on a little tree. Since we will be gone for about 2 weeks of December, I don't want to have to put up too much stuff after Christmas.

This coming Saturday we are driving to Galveston to spend one night in a motel before leaving on our 7-day cruise to Roatan, Honduras; Cozumel; and Costa Maya on Sunday,Ed's birthday. When the ship returns, we will drive home and have a few days to finish our Christmas shopping - some possibly on Amazon.

Then, a few days after Christmas we fly to Buenos Aires and spend a few nights there and then board our ship to go around the tip of South America for 17 days to Santiago, Chile, where we will stay for 2 nights before flying home.

Quite a busy December.

Linda your trips sounds wonderful! Enjoy Enjoy!
I was planning to put our tree up today but DH is plowing snow instead. It's a little early for me to start and I still have a Fall banner up. LOL With about 5" on the ground so far I guess it's fitting to start decorating for Christmas.
Happy December to all!
