So have y'all been busy in the kitchen baking Christmas favorites?

We started yesterday off with
Bourbon Balls
Chewy Chocolate Gingerbread (my daughter's favorite)
Salted Caramel Chocolate Chip Cookies (my son's favorite)
Spritz
Pepparkakor

And today
Saffron Rolls
Jelly Cookies
Sugar Cookies

We are also prepping
Rice Pudding
Pickled Cucumbers
Pickled Beets

We'll have our big meal tomorrow afternoon :) Can't wait to hear what your family favorites are.

Do you ice your sugar cookies?

Our sugar cookies are from my son-in-law's family recipe so they are a recent addition to our cookie baking. He uses sprinkles on his. Its a yummy recipe with lemon zest in it.

Yes we do ice them. It is a family recipe from JT's grandma.

Fallon went to a parent's night out at Chef's School and came back with a gingerbread house... The gingerbread man occupant and some of his siding has disappeared and she is now roller skating wildly around the kitchen island... Coincidence?

Also attempted: purple sweet potato dog treats, heart-shaped sugar cookies (without icing) for stocking swap

More pedestrian baking now under way--
Might Die Tomorrow White Bread (MJF book)
Banana bread
